Palin, Axelrod weigh in on health care

(CNN) – The vice president called it a "BFD," so why no celebration of the health reform law's two year anniversary, Sarah Palin asked President Barack Obama in a Friday post to her Facebook account.

"Mr. President, you're conspicuously absent from the 2-year anniversary of your 'greatest accomplishment' (described by your VP as "a big f***ing deal")," the former Alaska governor wrote.

She acknowledged conservative protests of the law and Supreme Court oral arguments on the law's constitutionality, which begin on Monday. Palin joins several GOP presidential hopefuls and the Republican National Committee in using the anniversary as a venue to criticize the president.

In contrast, however, the White House held no commemorative event, and the president's only appearance was for an unrelated event - announcing his nominee to lead the World Bank.

A top White House domestic policy adviser said on CNN's "The Situation Room" that the administration marked the event by publishing a "report celebrating what has happened and explaining to people what has happened so they can understand the benefits and actually get them."

"The president is focused on so many issues right now," Melody Barnes told CNN's "Wolf Blitzer," and won't publicly celebrate it.

Obama's re-election effort, however, sent an email to supporters asking for solidarity in favor of the law: "today, stand with me in saying, 'Hell yeah, I'm for Obamacare'."

And as for the "BFD" comment? When the president signed the law, Vice President Joe Biden turned to him and said, "This is a big f***king deal." The Obama campaign turned the quip into a slogan for t-shirts, and then-White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs tweeted "And yes Mr. Vice President, you're right…."

I do believe that is the first time that Sour Palin has referred to him as MR. PRESIDENT instead of Obama. Someone else must be doing her twittering.

And are we expected to celebrate every anniversary of every bill that has ever been passed? Why doesn't she do something productive, offer solid solutions, or just shut up?

Ya, I am sure President Obama is following her facebook page, probably twitter too. Geez I wish this woman would get a life. If she is elected to a national office, half the citizens in America will probably move to Canada.

Palin is all snark and minimal accomplishment. Obama is all achievement and minimal snark. Let's see Sarah's transcripts.

The truth is the GOP doesn't like anything to benefit the people in general. They only like to see their corporate masters happy. When the lowest person in the US can have what the richest can have by only being a citizen, well then it's not fair and should be stopped because "all men are created equal except those that have no money and should be treated as de facto slaves" etc.

This is typical ot the president not to be taking credit for this great accomplishment. Palin on the other hand is always trying to find something to take credit for. Sadly, she has no real accomplishments, only failures as a governor.

I would like to remind everyone that "Death Panels" Palin supported coverage for end-of-life counseling ("Health Decisions Day") on April 16, 2008 when she was governor of Alaska.

I cannot believe you can put these two statements in the same sentence-A quitter that was not vetted and could be mentally ill-and not exactly up to par with current events or history or just knowledge in general, and speaks behind the cloak of facebook or fox news without any questions to her remarks-and a campaign manager that got Obama elected and has been a respected intelligent political operative in this arena-its like the lowest of the low and the highest of the intelect giving opinions and treating them as equals-this has to stop-no more facebook reports from an idiot

It's amazing how much like Cuba this website run by CNN is becoming. All Communist totalitarian states and websites have the thinking that people don't know they are being propagandized.... well we do – and when Romney is elected in November CNN can go back to being an irrelevant Marxist trashcan.

Once again, Sarah Palin – – filling in for the absentee journalists in the lamestream media – – is asking the pertinent questions that are on the minds of most American citizens. And once again, President "I won" has no response other than a slack-jawed, teleprompter-induced "Duhhhhhh.......". The media predictably circles the wagons and protects our president, attacks Palin for her "stupidity", and comes up with some non-issue crisis to focus on, in an effort to deflect from Obama's disastrous, 3-1/2-year nightmare of leftist ideology, policy blunders and sheer incompetence. Rinse, cycle, repeat...... until Election Day in November, when we can finally throw the Marxist baby out with the bathwater and put someone – – anyone – – in office for the good of OUR NATION.
