Palin congratulates Santorum over 'bulls-' remark

(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.

The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."

Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."

The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."

Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."

"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."

When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

It's a hoot reading this numbskulls quotes. The complete and utter lack or sentence structure leaves me in stitches. As for the topic, what would you expect this moron to say? Her lack of intelligence and education was laid out for the world to see and people recognized her for the moron that she is. Of course since she does not think of herself as a moron she lashes out at the "liberal media". It's amazing how these republican twits think 99.9% of the media is liberal and only FOX News is "fair and balanced". Simply amazing.

Only in Sarah Palin's world is someone's exact quote considered "twisted by liberal media". Why does this woman feel the need to comment on every issue that comes up? Still trying to prove what little relevency she has? As for the Santorum quote, everyone can see that it was clearly scripted. Someone must have told him that looking "tough" to a Times reporter goes over well with the uninformed masses, known as the Republican party. To me, saying what he said just makes him look smaller than he is.

Between Pat Robertson in favor of Pot and Palin in favor of B.S. – It sounds like they're getting a little Liberal on us. Alright Hillary & Ru Paul time to spice things up. We only got months left for our Liberal showdown. Let's get Janet Reno in full pink military garb and some more cult crack downs via Occupy in action. This will be a whole new tea party indeed and it's gonna be served Lilith-Fair style !

Typical Palin and co. To be honest, there wasn't much context given surrounding the question, Santorum was meaning the Romney was the worst pick regarding Obamacare but his exact words were: “Pick any other Republican in the country,” Mr. Santorum told supporters here. “He is the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama. Why would Wisconsin want to vote for someone like that?”

So instead of clarifying his statement he decides to attack the report reporter. Twisting his words? He quoted them verbatim but there's more mileage in attacking the reporter instead is saying what he really meant.

It's almost like she intentionally picks the wrong position on matters. Like George Costanza doing the opposite.
