Palin congratulates Santorum over 'bulls-' remark

(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.

The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."

Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."

The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."

Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."

"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."

When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

No Sarah. It's not the leftist media, it's the republican candidates that do enough to themselves.

If anyone knows every nuance that word holds and the truth of it in her own life, it's Sarah Palin.

    Go, Sarah!

    Far, far away..........................

Kaching . . . Sarah knows that if she just calls the media "liberal", "leftist" or "lamestream" the right wing will fill her pockets with millions of more dollars. Sarah doesn't bow to the U.S. or even God – she bows to a higher power, the Almighty Dollar. I'm sure this comment will be well worth the bowing she did today.

Ugh. When will this stupid witch go away?! Who CARES what this airhead thinks?! If I were Santorum I'd be saying "please, don't agree with me Sarah" Her kind of "help" is not the good kind. If anything, it would HURT someone. Such a moron.

Sarah Palin is a joke and anyone who takes her seriously is lacking an I.Q. The reporter repeated Santorum's
words, so it's good to know that Santorum is aware of the fact that his words are bull--.

Not a lot of people out there are listening to what Sarah Palin has to say. The proof is her unfavorability rating – it's through the roof.

Hey twins fan, the problem is they only used part of his exact words. The words in quotes are what they used. They left out the reference to health care. I can't stand Santorum and won't vote for him but his words were taken out of context. His point was Romney is the worst candidate on healthcare not that he is the worst candidate which is what the media reported him as saying.

Would you expect anything less from loser Palin? She is just looking for some reason to get back in the news. Thankfully, the country has moved on from its obession with this bigoted, mindless twit.

"Wasn't she at a gun range in LA recently?"

was she the one that told Santorum to pretend the target he was shooting at was Obama?

While I am definitely not a supporter of Santorum, I also applaud his angry retort at the media. His problem is he thinks that he is the only one the media does that to. He is not the only one to be taken out of context like that. Take a look at the millions of supervisors and managers who do this to their employees...

If Mrs. Palin dislikes the media so much maybe she should go back to Alaska and leave the rest of us alone. If Santorum does not like being asked questions about his comments maybe he should drop out of the race and return to where ever he came from.

Politicians would be totally obscure if it were not for the media. The politicians really depend on the media.
