Palin congratulates Santorum over 'bulls-' remark

(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.

The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."

Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."

The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."

Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."

"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."

When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

Honestly, who cares what Sarah thinks! After watching her HBO story, which I found completely believable, I am not surprised in her efforts to remain in the spotlight.

I don't care if Santorum or any other politician/person/public figure says a swear word. We all know those words are in their vocabulary. What I DO care about is that you'd report Sarah Palin's view on it. Who is she? Who cares what she says about ANYTHING?

yet another Sarah Palin contradiction...isn't she the one who doesn't swear? what a crock! then again i don't expect for any republican to be factualy, honest or true. it's not in their playbook.

Take a deeeeeep breath all of you lefty liberals who hate...I know this will be hard for you to believe, but just because you read it on CNN, doesn't make it true. The nominee has not been decided yet, so until that happens, we won't know WHO the VP choice will be. Chill out. This is just CNN drivel meant to stir things up amongst all of its liberal followers.

And we want to hear her input because....
    1) She's really smart? Remember her campaign circus-foolery and also watch "Game Change".
    2) Because she's gonna let the candidates walk thru fire then jump in and say she's presidential material?
    3) She's a role model? and because Katie Couric was mean to her?
Not really much she can stand on to cause us to want to value her thoughts or for us to worship her, but some do.

This woman is so limited in her vocabulary and wants everyone to be the same, ignorant and uneducated. Since Palin already said she supports Newt and then Newt threw her a bone, now Newt's not winning so she goes after Santorum begging for a bone. Palin not a politician, she's pathetic. Look out Romney, Palin will soon come begging you for a bone.

A Palin endorsement.... Get the fork, Santorum is done. Sarah's public endorsement is a political kiss of death. Santorum would have been better off with Mahmoud Ahmadenijad's endorsement.

    Dear readers,
My friend and I have an ONLINE RADIO SHOW on politics. It is on BLOGTALKRADIO.COM and search "WE THE PEOPLE WITH MATT AND ERIC." Our show airs every TUESDAY at 10PM EST. I won't say what side we take personally because to me it is unimportant. It will be clear after we begin to talk, but the point of the show is not to regurgitate information from the news or bash anyone or anything per se. The objective of the show is for us to spark a conversation and/or debate and engage. We welcome all people from the political spectrum, and embrace all arguments ideas etc.
