Palin congratulates Santorum over 'bulls-' remark

(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.

The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."

Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."

The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."

Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."

"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."

When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

Palin hadn't acknowledged or congratulated Santorum on anything he has said so far....shows her level of intellect and Santorum's if this is the only noteworthy credit he can get from her.

It is perfectly normal for Palin to congratulate Santorum over the bulls remark. She is vastly familiar with the subject and also a specialist of bovine excreta, buffalo chips and horse hockey

So, Santorum can't call someone out for twisting his words without using profanity??? Palin shoud be ashamed of herself for condoning this, this sends the WRONG message, that it's okay to use profanity if you feel someone is twisting words instead of simply pointing it out in front of everyone. If you are right, people will see that.

Kind of feel sorry for Reverend Ricky. It's bad enough to be a sniveling little whined, but now he had Sarah Palin on his side. Did she abandon Newt? Does she get her exercise jumping from one bandwagon to another?

Good values there to teach our kids. Spew profanity on the news for all to see and hear..

Thats who we want running our country? A man who can't even maintain composure with a reporter?
Imagine how he'd handle REAL stressful situations..

Tell the Russian Prime minister he's full of SHI!?
Yea, that'll do wonders for our foreign relations.. Please step down already Rick.
    You are NOT worthy..

What did the report do wrong? He was just repeating what Santorum said on camera.

It's a shame Sarah won't be elected Bimbo in Chief. If it were her, she'd quit in a year or two. The other clowns will hold on to the bitter end.

Isn't it funny how she and the rest of the right wing people accuse the left liberal media for everything? If something doesn't go there way: it's the left liberal media's fault. If Santorum said that about Romney, just fess up and admit it, what is so hard about that? And Palin's problem is that she is still licking her wounds from her Katie Couric interview. I still can't get over that she couldn't come up with a news magazine: Time, Newsweek-hello.

Oh isn't that nice. Now we're even considering a guy who can't keep his cool and yells out curse words in public. Where are all the so called conservatives who care about our children and the moral decay of society?

I think this is disgusting. Such language. We need to keep morality in the White House. This guy worships organized crime in the Vatican. Keep your children safe and away from these people.

  19. Vote the Tea Party OUT in 2012

didn't at one time Sarah Palin refer to Rick Santorum as a "knuckle-dragging Neanderthal"? One of the few times I ever AGREED with her. Of course it's that evil left wing media that provokes people like him and Gingrich by just asking them to repeat things they really actually SAID!

I think this is a very sad commentary on the state of our politics when politicians think this is a show of strength. It is actually a rather weak argument for very poor behavior.

3rd party required to bring the extremes back to the center. Only 2 parties breed this 'one way or the other' style of government. Democracy is meant to represent the collective will of the average person. You cannot get a true average with only 2 points of reference. I wish I could run my business only working as much as a politician does, I could use a holiday.

Has anyone reminded Sarah Palin yet that she is just a blithering, poorly-educated, poorly-read IDIOOTTT ?

Palin is bad for america period. She is a divider and racist. CNN seems to have a fasination with this half govenor. Folks who are in the dark should go back and read the book Game Change, and see what the real palin is about. The far right wingers are intent on ruining this country.
