Palin congratulates Santorum over 'bulls-' remark

(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.

The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."

Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."

The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."

Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."

"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."

When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

Been a while since we had to hear something from this ignorant harpy. She holds no office, she isn't running for office, she won't run for office again. Her opinions are worth nothing. She isn't even popular amongst the conservabots. Stop foisting her on us already.

Sarah who? Funny how conservatives love to dish it but can never handle it when their words come back to bite them. Maybe if they had a brain and THOUGHT about what they were saying before saying, they wouldn't have the media twisting...I mean reciting what they actually said.

Palin goes on Fox News to say that the so-called liberal media is "twisting words." It just doesn't get any funnier.

The real Sarah was seen because of the press and now the real Reverand Santorum is captured by the press. Of course Sarah is delighted. She's an idiot! The press saw through her phoney presentation and they are capturing another of the Taliban Christians on display!

Is this all she does? What for "liberal" media to mess up and then criticize them Is this considered
a valuable trait? I'm waiting for some reasonable responses from Ms Palin related to our nation's problems. Does
she have a program, or are we rerunning Rosanne Rosanna-Rosanna Danna? "Its always something."

Oh really? Amid all of the deviseness do we really need leaders that swear at the free press, an integral part of our society? One more reason to keep as far away from Repulicans as we can. I guess we should keep our children away from them too. Very poor role models!!

"because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives.""

As if she has any clue what the American people want...or even what's in a newspaper.

  16. Early morning laughter about word twisters

them liberal media twisting them (sacred) conservative words. My, my, what an outburst!
Mr. Santorum, you are welcomed in Sarah Palin's (small narrow minded un-educated word twisting outraged angry fababulous) world, well, it's more like an ant-hill. Go, join her, in that sewer of brainless anger and gist and wordsmithing, in the gutter of mudslinging, the ditch of wrathful despair. But do it at your own risk.
You know, the moose hunter mom possesses the kiss of death... But go right at her busom, like so many GOP candidates. Her milk is sour (grapes) too. Laughing all the way to my first cup of coffee for the day......

  17. Amazing

Suffice it to say that if Obama called out a Fox news reporter with the same language, Palin would be calling his behavior undignified and childish. What a hypocrite!

If you do something that Sarah likes you should probably start doing the opposite. She is the most ignorant person in today’s politics. I would jump at the chance to sit down and speak with her just to see what crazy things she would say.

jeez, really? sorry Palin but the reporter was repeating Santorum's own words. HIS OWN WORDS. There was no twisting, there was 'gotcha', they were his own words, that he is on video record as saying.
Yet another gop fool that refuses to accept their own words.

I was like welcome to my world Rick. And he was like "thanks!" And I was all like, "no problem" and we were like having such a good time thinking either of us were, like, still relevant in this country.
