Palin congratulates Santorum over 'bulls-' remark

(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.

The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."

Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."

The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."

Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."

"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."

When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

The best thing that ever happened to Sarah is Tina Fey. If it wasn't for Tina, why someone might actually believe that Sarah actually speaks for something other than herself John McCain might have had a fighting chance if she hadn't been on the ticket. He was the true patriot and because of her as VP, ruined his credibility and integrity. Americans just aren't that shallow to listen to an shamed ex-Governor, we do remember Richard Nixon.

She is such a hypocrite. If President Obama had said this she would have been all over it condemning it. What a joke she has become.

"Opinions are like as*holes. Everybody has one and they're only good for one thing" . Except for Sarah "Show Me the Money" Palin. She usually talks through hers.

She is looking to be the Presidential candidate, but attacking the media that have video of tricky Rickey saying something he claims that he did not say is not going to help her cause. Now tricky Rickey has a memory problem or he he just lies when it suits him, neither make him a very good presidential candidate.

No words were twisted. The reporter used the exact words Santorum used.

The truth is: the media tells the truth. It just so happens that it doesn't flatter the GOP.

Let me get this right. A reporter ask Santorum about a quote he made and Santorum calls it BS? Now Palin is praising the remark? Wow, just wow.

If Santorum said that about Romney, just fess up and admit it, what is so hard about that? And Palin's problem is that she is still licking her wounds from her Katie Couric interview. I still can't get over that she couldn't come up with a news magazine: Time, Newsweek-hello.

Why is this women still getting press? Who gives a flying flip what this simpleton thinks. Speaking of simpletons, I am really surprised that Santorum denied that he said this and said that he was mis-quoted. I mean this has been his M.O. this whole campaign. The nut job flaps his obtuse mouth and then when it hits the news he cries foul that he has been mis-quoted.
Btw, how many people are tired of hearing him cry about being outspent? The way I see it, if more people were behind him, then he would have more money. Money goes to the people with the bigger followings- period! What does he expect will happen if he would have to run against Obama? Freaking loser needs to go back to the state that voted him out by the largest margin in history.

What does this clown even know what anyone outside of Fox reports, she hides over there for fear of being asked a question that was not prepared in advance.

It is extremely amusing to hear Regressives accuse liberals of fabricating anything. Regressives who questioned war heroes' loyalty and sacrifice to the nation, e.g, Congressman Max Cleland and Senator John Kerry.

CNN why are you printing a statement from her that you know is untrue? You reported on the Santorum statement, you quoted it. The NY Times reported was on the dime. Yet, you report as if her statements were true. Her integrity is nonexistent. Isn't she worth a fact check before you report anything she says. Should you not present her with the fact check results? Now that would be worth reporting..

Rick Santorum said he wants to be Romney's running mate. He'll do for Romney what Sarah did for Mccain – totally sunk the Repubs chances of being elected, too, also, and I can see Roooosia from my house, doncha' know.
