Palin congratulates Santorum over 'bulls-' remark

(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.

The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."

Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."

The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."

Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."

"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."

When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

Santorum showed his "Christian Values, Great Theology". Imagine what is going on in his HOUSEHOLD? This is who he is. Bishop Santorum is preaching the Gospel of B. Palin is a good singer in this B choir. She is talking about what HER "bible" is teaching HER. They both reading from the same gospel of fear by REPUBLICAN'Ts

Why anyone listens to her is completely beyond me. She needs to go back to Alaska and go back to working at the t.v. station. Also, they both throw temper tantrums so it COMPLETELY makes sense she would defend him.

How dare a reporter repeat Santorum's own words back to him and ask him a questions about it. Sarah is the only person who can understand Rick's crazy logic.

If Obama said this kinda thing it'd be proof he's just a thug, though. Of course.

And Palin can't claim the media has been against her... they're the only reason anyone cares about her, and she knows how to manipulate them while acting like it's all by accident.

I think she is still upset with journalists who has the courage to ask real questions from these GOP candidates. This disgusting creature is under the impression that she would have been in the white house by now if the real journalists didn't ask her those common sense questions.

It's a shame when we cannot have a civil discourse in society without name calling, blaming, lying, cheating, finger pointing, bias, slurs, vulgar language, hatred, disrespect, discontent, spite and so on. And thats the adults trying to get elected. I've seen better grade school recess and lunch room behavior. It's time for everyone on all sides of this election to grow up and get on with the nations business.

Nice try Palin, but Santorum's brain is twisting Santorum's words, not the "liberal media."

Palin talks about words being twisted by the (gasp!) liberal media? Every time she opens her mouth, out pops a new balloon animal before anyone lays a hand on whatever she's trying to say!!

God, imagine the monstrous results if Sarah and Rick got together and had offspring. Yikes! I guess it takes one failed candidate to recognize another.

I didn't see any twisting of the facts here. I saw the footage of Santorum speaking and that was exactly what he said, that Romney is the worst republican to put against Obama. But then again, Santorum has denied things that he had said before, until he was shown a footage of him speaking.

Hey DJ....how is a reporter quoting Santorum word for word equated to the liberal lying media? Is the "D" in DJ for delusional?

Well, if there was only one person on earth who would be an expert on "bulls-", then that would be Sarah Palin, the Queen of Bulls-. Her hero, Ricky, is pretty close behind her for that title. If Sarah went on vacation Rick could be Queen for a Day!

How about when our VP Jo(ker) Biden sprouts manifolds worse than this. Palin is neither VP and nor running for a post. Liberal media has gone out of the way something nothing to a mountain. Obama and Biden gets away with worst of the offenses. Obama is ready to sell America and liberals are celebrating. Didn't you hear he told Russian PM that he will take care of things once he is reelected. I am wondering what other things he has promised to his friends at wrong places.

Ah, yes, the woman who won't go back to Wasilla and leave us sane citizens alone. She is so afraid of being forgotten that she will come out with a comment about once a week, just to keep her nose in politics. Well, I've got news for you sweetheart, you and McCain lost the election, you quit as governor of the state of Alaska – your time in politics is over. Forget about it!

What in the world has happened to this country? The mean girls and boys have taken over and I am NOT talking about the media...well maybe Fox News. There is no civility left. People have no respect for each other. By the way Sarah Palin is irelevent..her opinion is meaningless.
