(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.
The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."
Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."
The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."
Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."
"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."
When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

If you are asked a question what everyone expects is the answer and not starting bubbling as she did when she was asked what kind of newsmagazines/paper she reads. It was the same to Santorum, instead of answering the question he started attacking the person who asked. Both Sarah and Santorum have no integrity to deal with the existing situation according to that particular time.

Using profanity does not show strength. Using profanity shows that you are not articulate enough to argue a point effectively. I am a Republican and I am sick and tired of these candidates making a mockery of this process and our party. How do you think someone using profanity to argue their points will fair against the editor of the Harvard law review? This is not at all respectable. It is simply careless and shameful.

Ironic that she, of all people, would speak about how the "leftist" media treats conservatives. The irrational and dishonest right-wing has an entire news network dedicated to their lies and spin. They'll even give jobs to all of the radicals (like Sarah Palin) when they can't get elected – which seems to be most of the time. This lying opportunist has milked the system dry. To stoop to such a poor choice of words is unpreseidential for Rick Santorum and unpraiseworthy for Sarah Palin. Our young people need role models who can act dignified in difficult situations. The strength of a person's character is forged in the furnace of conflict – impurities will float to the surface and dross must be discarded not embraced. How sad!
If his BS comment would have been made in an honest moment, it would be one thing. He was just looking for an opportunity to show his kahuna's. It was fake and that's the issue I have with him on it. He could have picked a better example to let out his tirade. These two give people the impression that GOP politicians are the whiniest people in the world, and have incredibly thin skin. What would Santorum do if he won the presidency? The "attacks" he's faced thus far (i.e., being asked about things he said earlier that day, word for word) are nothing compared to what the right says about Obama every single day (and sadly enough, his family as well).
