(CNN) – Sarah Palin heaped praise on Rick Santorum after the Republican presidential candidate accused a reporter of "bulls-" questioning over the weekend.
The former 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate said the exchange showed strength.

"It was good and it was strong and it was about time because he's saying enough is enough of the liberal media twisting conservative's words," Palin said on Fox News late Monday night. "I was like welcome to my world Rick. And good on ya, don't retreat."
Santorum engaged in a heated exchange with The New York Times' Jeff Zeleny Sunday night when the reporter asked Santorum about his earlier comment that Romney was "the worst Republican in the country to put up against Barack Obama," in reference to health care. An angry Santorum said "quit distorting my words … It's bulls-."
The former Pennsylvania senator later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on CNN's "The Situation Room," "If you're a conservative and you haven't taken on a New York Times reporter you're not worth your salt as far as I'm concerned."
Palin echoed the sentiments, calling Zeleny a "liberal leftist in the tank for Obama."
"I was glad that he called out this reporter," Palin said. "He and the other candidates, all of them, they need to do more of this because believe me the American people are tired of what the leftist media continues to do to conservatives."
When asked if a nominee Santorum could be a reality, the former Alaska governor said "anything is possible."

Sarah Palin is irrelevant and I am glad to see a reporter hold a politician accountable to what they say and finally how can a politician accuse someone of distorting what they say when everything they say is an distortion.
Conservative just provide such a target-rich environment for reporters and comedians. I guess they can't help it.
If I am not mistaken, the same reporter got a hot water from the Clinton campaign back in 2008 about his remark. So Palin has no idea about what she is talking about. She seems enjoying making comments that are actually distractive to the country, rather than productive. I really hope ANY media will ignore her. She is so not important to both left and right.

This did not show strength. This shows how hot headed and unpresidential Santorum really is. He acted like an angry teenager whose parent repeated back to him the unwise words he chose to use. How pathetic.
I'm not sure who I dislike and distrust more: Sarah or Sanitarium, but as a thinking American voter, I have to side with them on this one. Stupidity in the media is not a Liberal or Conservative thing, just an epidemic. We are supposed to be making decisions on who would be the best suitted for a job and we get tossed so much fluff that the real issues never get covered.
