(CNN) - Mitt Romney's winning streak will continue Tuesday in Wisconsin if a new poll out of the Badger State proves correct.
The NBC/Marist Poll released Friday indicated Romney edged out his Republican opponents with 40% support from likely primary voters, followed by Rick Santorum's 33%, Ron Paul's 11% and Newt Gingrich's 8%.

However, Santorum led among very conservative primary voters, strong supporters of the tea party movement and evangelical Christians.
Romney has captured states where evangelical voters constituted less than 50% of the electorate and failed to win in states where that number exceeded 50%. The key conservative voting bloc makes up 41% of the electorate in Wisconsin, according to the most recent survey.
If Romney captures the GOP nomination he will face an uphill battle against President Barack Obama in the state the former Illinois senator won in 2008 with 56.3% of the vote to then-Republican nominee Sen. John McCain's 42.4%.
Obama held a sizeable lead over his potential Republican rivals in hypothetical general election match-ups in the state, topping Romney 52% to 35% among registered voters, with 13% undecided. He also beat Santorum by 13 percentage points, 51% to 38%, with 11% undecided.
The president benefited from a gender gap that showed Obama beating Romney among women by 25 points and among men by 12 points. Obama's job approval rating in the state stood at 50%.
Voters head to the polls in Wisconsin, Maryland and the District of Columbia on Tuesday.
The poll surveyed 2,792 registered voters between March 26 and March 27 with a sampling error of plus or minus 1.9 percentage points and 740 likely Republican primary voters with a sampling error of plus or minus 3.6 percentage points.
Once the American people REALLY get to see Willard for what he REALLY is and what he REALLY doesn't have – the president will once again win over the hearts and minds of intelligent and somewhat skeptical voters. While this won't be an easy re-election – the options are far worst and moderates and independents (myself included) will realize this. Placing Willard in office will put this country in an even worse situation than it was when W left and they will conclude that the only safe choice is to keep President Obama in office and let him finish cleaning up this mess.
Romney and Newt meet and made a deal. Lets see how much mitt paid newt to take a possion on the ticket. ??? Scary . This is not about big government with the repos it is about big money. If they cared about the government they would have voted to cancell oil subsidies. Money Money Money as the song says . Its a rich mans world. Obama / Biden 2012 forward
What all his endorsers are saying is "end it, while our sell-out to corporations and the wealthiest is ahead".
Etch-a-Sketch Mitt Romney is the weakest candidate in the history GOP presidential nomination!!!
He is weaker than John McCain, and even weaker than Sarah Palin as a Veepee candidate!
The GOP/TeaParty can prop Etch-a-Sketch Mitt all they want, but the American people can see right through him...Mitt is a spineless, no conviction, say-anything do-anything flip flopper who just wants to be president for the heck of it!!!!
Not gonna happen!!!
Funny. Great Friday morning laugh and on TOP of that the TRUTH.
Have a good one.
I suppose Romney thinks its just fine for the 99% to eat pink slime, “pink slime” – is headed by a major donor to Mitt Romney's political action committees.
Corporations are people too !
Its interesting that someone brought up the "voting discrepencies" accusation on the Dems again: now, who has had trouble counting votes and getting them in on time in the last 2 years? That's right, the GOP. There won't be any need for recounts and court challenges anyway: participation the GOP primaries is significantly down this cycle when you comapre it to 2008, so I guess the GOP will have to rely on their voter suppression efforts again to make sure the Mormon aristocrat wins.
Romney is not a replacement for President Obama. Romney does not care about the poor, he wanted Detroit car
industries to go bankruptcy and finally he is out of touch with ordinary American popullace.
Kayode, I hate having to keep bringing this up, but you do know that even with 60 billion federal tax dollars Obama was not able to keep GM and Chrysler from going bankrupt, don't you? And you do know there are still $25 billion of tax money tied up in GM that may or may not come back some day? Mitt Romney was exactly correct on the automobile industry. Obama was out of his league.
What a freaking joke Mittens is but I guess the GOP likes Flip Floppers so much they can't see beyond the empty shell of a man he is. 1) Out of touch with the working class 2) Dose not know what it is like to be without 3) Thinks 300,000 in speaking fees per year is pocket change 4) Dose Mittens come with a Reset Button (Just watch him try to reset himself from the far right to the center if he wins the GOP Primary).
And Romney willl continue to fall against President Obama in other states as well. The people I speak to just don't feel a connection with Romney.
Four – Keep on dreaming about Mittens. He is clueless on the economy, clueless on foreign policy, is not a job creator, is a money launderer, is a tax evader, is a chicken hawk war monger, and has taken so many positions, only you seem to know where he stands on anything.
I love to see how Obama will debate with Romney on the heatltcareissue!
"But what are you interested in, a front man for a rock band or a leader of a nation of 350 million people with the largest most sophisticated economy the planet has ever known?"
I'm certainly NOT interested in a man who himself has no idea what he stands for any given day of the week, and even if he did have a vision for the most sophisticated economy the planet has ever known, he's unable or incapable of fulfilling (or articulating) that vision. Mitt Romney's advisers are the same advisers GW had ... and we all know where they lead us economically. There is no doubt that it is these same men who have yet to understand (or care about) the damage they created. No need to worry, though. Mitt will never get the opportunity to put GWs actions back into play - he'll never get the votes needed to become leader of our nations 300+ million souls who have actually lived through the destruction the Grand Old Party misfits created and then laughed over.

Obama wouldn't dare. You see, what Romney did was wrong, but constitutional. What Obama, the constitutional law professor did, was not. Speaks volumes, doesn't it?
Progressive Democrats will fight to the extreme. After Rep's elected the worse President in History, they should sink in shame and stop lying when they open there mouth. Why do you think kids bully? They see it from there Mothers and Fathers listening to Rush Limbaugh and thinking it is ok to bully. Shame on Rep's.
Yo, The Real Tom, you are 100% right. These slimeballs are denying the eldery & minorities vote. Its like their from Syria or Iran. The are SEVERLY Anti American & will do whatever it takes for their Tabby Nackle to win. Scary, but true
Having Willard in command of our military would be like a small boy playing with his soldiers on his bedroom floor. Willard just wants the chance to play around with them – you know get his kicks. God help us if this Mormon ever gets control of our childrens lives. His son's of course would do all the talking and photo ops while our sons and daughters die. He is by far the WORST candidate to EVER run for the POTUS. No love of country or his fellow man. Money is all this liar has ever wanted and he's proven he doesn't care how he gets it. Willard is toxic for this country and should be sent back to his cult in November accordingly.
Rob-me has no chnace. He has done a fabulous job of alienating the poor, gays, immigrants, the common american folks, the womens issues including closing planned parenthood, vaginal probe-rape for an abortion, letting us know that we really need to be barefoot and pregnant. And gaffe after gaffe. The highlight this week was hiring a lobbyist to promote his need for an elevators for his cars.
And again, the GM bailout was for more than just GM. Auto parts stores, dealerships, the nuts and bolts, seats, radio makers would have also gone down the tubes.

Are you serious? After the SCOTUS tosses the constitutional professor's landmark piece of legislation as unconstitutional, he won't dare touch it with a 10 foot pole.
