Romney wins three primaries, CNN projects

(CNN) – CNN projects Mitt Romney will win all three of Tuesday's Republican presidential primaries, including Wisconsin, where the loss for Rick Santorum may damage his ability to convince Republicans that he can stop Romney from getting the nomination.

Romney's wins in Wisconsin, Maryland and the District of Columbia will put him past the halfway mark to the 1,144 delegates needed to clinch the nomination and add to a wide delegate lead that he holds over the other major GOP presidential candidates, according to CNN estimates.

Both of them have put on a few pounds since the primary started. I guess those campaign dinners and photo-ops require your to eat a lot of stuff you'd otherwise avoid. I have saved a photo of Rick Perry going down on a corney-dog at the Iowa State Fair. Michelle Bachman did the same thing – but with less love and more anger. How you eat a corney-dog says a lot about a person...

The race is between a privileged elitist and a president who represents all of us. Mittens is introduced: And in this corner representing big oil, Wall Street, big pharma, the Kochs, off shore banking, tax cuts for the wealthy, deregulation, big corporations, foreign corporations, and the upper .01% is Mittens vs. our president, the only candidate to end the Bush/republican near depression, bin Laden, the war in Iraq, and provide 25 months of private sector job growth while the stock market almost doubles in 3 years.

Santorum is a religious fanatic. It's quite alarming that he has so much support when we've seen the results of religious oppression in the Middle East and the violence that it causes. Beware of giving power to religious zealots.

I still don't understand why any Republican would put Santorum in this race, he's totally unqualified just like Palin.

Santorum would probably make a good Pastor at some church, I think he missed his calling.

Resistance is futile! The Koch brothers et. al. selected their elitist lap dog and the Rush Limbaugh fans will vote accordingly, like pawns should... However, the moderates and the independents will see through the "swift boat" BS and vote for President Obama – the only adult in the room.

Bring it on Romney ! The people against Corporations and the wealthy. Republicans are all about class warfare and offer nothing to the middle class and Romney is up against much more than Obama !

Wow. Outspend someone 10 to 1 and yet win by only 4%? Not much of a businessman are you, Mitt... Actually, not so great of a product that you're selling.

Romney now trying to spread the rumor that President Obama is atheist. Just wanted to warn you folks. I'm sure it's just to try to get his Mormonism off the 42% that might hesitate to vote for a mormon (especially since they all think it's not a sin to lie to or about a non-mormon).
