Romney camp pulls Santorum attack ad

Washington (CNN) - Mitt Romney's presidential campaign said Monday it was pulling a television ad hitting rival Rick Santorum while Santorum tends to his young daughter Isabella, who was admitted to a hospital Friday.

The sharply negative ad, which was to begin airing in the April 24 primary battleground state of Pennsylvania, highlighted Santorum's 2006 reelection loss in the state.

Folks, we need all of us ask ourselves the following: What are we benefiting from negative ads? Do we really need to see them? Don't we need to see what a candidate will do to us?

If the ad is too nasty to air while Santorum cares for an ill daughter doesn't that give one pause to think maybe it's too nasty to air at all?

why is romney still attacking santorum any way. santorum have no chance in hell getting the nomination. this man doesnt have any sense of pitty. all he knows is attack attack attack. i wonder if obama knows what hes up against. romney with his money and his big money friends who control the media, is a formable foe for obama. romney knows one thing, and that is to make the rich few gets richer and the middle go down to the poor section. rich folks loves this ideology, until they find out, that taking money from the spenders, will spend doom for their businesses, atleast in america, theyve still got china and india to run to.

If the ad doesn't run until April 24, then why pull it? Unless the commercial hits hard his family or something to do with his views on family. It won't stop any of the swifboating he has planned for everyone, on his own side and to Obama.
Obama will be ready for Robmey when it is due time. Now it is just warm up practice.

C'mon, Mitt! The trumped up compassion story does not mask the political calculation that there is no need to spend money on a commercial attacking an eventual also-ran in the primary when that money will be sorely needed in the fall when it really counts.
