A Democratic strategist apologized Thursday for a comment questioning Ann Romney's qualifications to advise her husband on women's economic issues, while the Romney campaign sought to exploit the controversy to help fix a gender gap problem in the race against President Barack Obama.

CNN: Republican strategist slams Democrats’ response to Hilary Rosen
A Republican strategist is defending Hilary Rosen following her controversial comment that Ann Romney has "never worked a day in her life." About 24 hours after Rosen made the comment, drawing the rebuke of Democrats and Republicans alike, Bay Buchanan has come to her rescue. Rosen has since apologized for the comment.

Republican strategist slams Democrats’ response to Hilary Rosen

(CNN) - A Republican strategist is defending Hilary Rosen following her controversial comment that Ann Romney has "never worked a day in her life."

About 24 hours after Rosen made the comment, drawing the rebuke of Democrats and Republicans alike, Bay Buchanan has come to her rescue. Rosen has since apologized for the comment.

Romney criticizes Obama handling of North Korea

(CNN) - Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney condemned the launch of a long-range rocket by North Korea, saying it puts the region at risk and highlights the “incompetence” of the Obama administration.

Romney's statement came a few hours after U.S. officials said the rocket was launched Thursday and broke apart before escaping the earth's atmosphere and falling into the sea.
