Hopefully the poor and middle class have paid in enough in so big oil, Wall Street, big corporations, billionaires and Mittens, will be able to get their refunds.

Wait, you mean they are both rich too? How can that be? I thought Mitt Romney was the only wealthy person in politics.

Bidens donated $5,540 – or about 1.5% of their adjusted gross income. About the same as last year.

You see, its not so hard to contribute to charity.., especially when living on the tax payers dime.
Joe is clearly one selfi-centered dude.

Not much the Reublicans can complain about in either, They are both well-to-do, but certainly not extremely wealthy. And, their charitable donatins seem reasonable.

AHA!! Just what we thought. And it's ALL OBAMA'S fault that they are paying anything in taxes at all. And I bet ... I bet...

Okay. Nothing really exciting here. But it is a campaign year, so it seemed appropriate to accuse someone of something.

    Have a nice day.

This makes for how many consecutive years of tax returns? Romney has an obligation to release returns for every year that he has been a candidate for POTUS, which would go back about 6 years. If not, he's disqualified. People have a right to know who pays the man now and in the recent past BEFORE they vote for him.

I know I would never vote for someone running for POTUS who refused to release their taxes.

22% to charity... most to the families of fallen soldiers.... and people will still call him unamerican and someone who is trying to destroy the United States. Look all you doubters and haters... when you can file a tax return showing you gave 20% to charity, I will start taking you serious.

"The President’s effective federal income tax rate is 20.5%. The President believes we must reform our tax system which is why he has proposed policies like the Buffett Rule that would ask the wealthiest Americans to pay their fair share "
    -----
So pony up the other 9.5% and lead by example, Obama.

??? – Doubt that Mr. & Mrs. Obama counted "as income" the Expense for Air Force One we taxpayers funded for their perpetual "Self Promotion" and "Vacation Trips" over the last three years ??? and . . .

Where does one find time to write all these books while serving as a Senator and President of this Great Country?

    just askin . . .

"The Vice President and Dr. Jill Biden also released their 2011 federal income tax returns, as well as state income tax returns for both Delaware and Virginia. The Bidens filed joint federal and combined Delaware income tax returns. Dr. Biden filed a separate non-resident tax return for the state of Virginia. Together, they reported adjusted gross income of $379,035. The Bidens paid $87,900 in total federal tax for 2011. "
    ------
So Biden has an effective tax rate of 23.2% – 2.7% higher than his boss, Obama. WWWBD? (What Would Warren Buffett Do?)
