Sen. Brown not hurt in car accident

(CNN) – Republican Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts and his wife, Gail, were involved in a two-car accident in the eastern town of Dedham Friday night.

"Neither the Browns nor the driver of the car, Senate aide Chris Burgoyne, were injured," Brown spokeswoman Marcie Kinzel said in a statement to CNN.

The couple, on their way to a charity fundraiser, were passengers in a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

A junior senator from the Bay State, Brown is running for re-election in a high-profile race against Democratic challenger Elizabeth Warren.

Drunk again. What is it with those while male massacusetts senators?

We need a woman to take his place. Vote for Warren to get rid of the too-many-white-beloved-by-wallstreet men in our senate. (Brown is the poster pic. on the back of most wallstreet office doors - you know "pin-up" boy).

If you vote for Warren you will get a political lackey that is strictly a yes person, can not think on her own. Much like a robot. Brown is best thing to happen to this state

It's obvious from this article that the driver from the other vehicle doesn't matter. How are they doing? Ahh, who cares. The Republican Senator is fine. That's all that matters, forget the little people.

Glad to hear that he, his wife or the driver of the car were not hurt. I would not ever vote for him but that has nothing to do with the fact that he was in an accident. I actually don't think that he is the worse Republican running for office. I just believe that the country would benefit more from Warren being voted into office.

@ Scott – Warren is not a lackey. She is intelligent and has more nerve and determination than the average politician which is what Brown is. He's not bad, but he's clearly not the best. In your words Brown is "a political lackey that is strictly a yes person" "Much like a robot". A wrank rank & GOP filer. Still, he's very handsome and would make a great host on your favorite Fox show.

Whether Brown was drunk or not is really not important if he wasn't driving. But I do think that Elizabeth Warren would be a much better choice for the state of Massachusetts and the U.S. Senate. We need more exceptionally bright women like Warren in our Congress. Women know how to elicit a compromise from people on different sides of the aisle. Let's get America going again. Vote for women!!

I suspect his problem a continual turn to the right. Eventually, you end up going in a circle...
