State of the Union's Early Bird morning news note

Good Sunday morning. We're up early preparing for today's program. Prepare along with us – read what we're reading this morning.

On our radar: A tornado outbreak in the midwest spawns deadly twisters that have left at least five people, including two children, dead in Oklahoma. As the sun rises, we'll get a better idea of the damage that likely spreads across four states. We'll have the very latest live pictures. Then, with an eye on November we talk politics with the chairman of the Republican Party, Reince Priebus. And courting female voters with powerful congressional women - Republican Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers and Democratic Rep. Carolyn Maloney.

Oh, and Bill Cosby on politics, the Trayvon Martin case and plenty more.

FULL STORY

Watch State of the Union with Candy Crowley Sundays at 9am ET. For the latest from State of the Union click here.

I noticed that this year, the NRA is supporting the candidate who has signed gun restriction laws for longer waiting periods and banning assault weapons. Why would they support Mittens vs a democrat who has not? I would hope that the NRA would not base their endorsement on color, as that would be stupid.

Prince Reebus will talk about the alledged republican war on caterpillars. At first he was funny, now he is disgusting. Maybe CNN should get a real republican like Alan West to talk about what reality is like in a republican world.

The GOP has nothing to court women with. Their policies alienae women, minorities, the elderly, the poor and thsoe without health care. Right-wing rhetoric is not fact.

If it's Sunday morning we can expect the usual from our corporatist media as GOBP cult members will outnumber other guests by at least 2-1.

Labels hurt -- all of us, not just women. And when they are pushed by people who snarl their noses and get angry, well, S–IT HAPPENS

Its amazing how repubs attack Obama buffet rules, saying its only 40 billion bucks over 10 years. Yet the attack plan parenthood and big bird, which only total a fewer million dollars over that time period, these folks know no dignity.
