Trumps hosting birthday fundraiser for Ann Romney

Washington (CNN) – Her birthday may be Monday, but some of the biggest gifts Ann Romney brings in will come the day after.

Mrs. Romney is the guest of honor at a birthday fundraising event Tuesday in New York City for the campaign, hosted by Donald Trump's wife, Melania.

Trump spokesman Michael Cohen said 400 people are expected at the event in the couple's residence inside Trump Tower. Cohen said the event sold out in a week, and is expected to bring in "well in excess" of $600,000.

Cohen said Trump will stop by the fundraiser to wish Mrs. Romney a happy birthday. He said Trump expects to host another fundraiser for the campaign at Trump Tower once Romney officially clinches the nomination.

First lady Michelle Obama will also be raising cash on Tuesday. She will speak at a Democratic National Committee event in Nashville, followed by two DNC fundraisers in Pittsburgh.

Tuesday will be a busy political day in Pittsburgh, as Romney holds a midday campaign roundtable at a community center in suburban Bethel Park.

You know the Repubs are continually harping about people abusing the Bankruptcy Law. Now here's Trump one of their own throwing a lavish party for one of their own. Didn't Trump plead Bankruptcy several times? Yes, well then where are the call from the right wingers about misusing the bankruptcy protection? Double standard you think?

Not a problem for the Romney's is the guy in charge of the BBQ was convicted with four other men of beating to death a dog, skinning it and BBQing it. No suprise they believe Seamus enjoyed being trapped in a crate for 12 hours while he defecated all over himself. "He enjoyed it!! – Ann Romney

How nice. The billionaires can go into a "secret room" away from regular Americans, and discuss wealth.

It is clear why Melania Trump threw a party for Ann Romney. She can sympathize with Ann Romney, who does not have the "dignity of work" that Romney said women working at home need to have.

Great mother Ann Romney. She doesn't want her 5 sons to serve this country. Just to show how rich people make the poor protect their money with very little tax they pay.

Donald Trump will do anything to get his face on TV. His support is a total turnoff for many American voters. I hope he gets out there and campaigns and campaigns and campaigns for Romney bevause that will so lose him votes. Sice Romney is s out of touch with the average American, hooking up with Trump only makes it more obvious.

    Well! Well!!

Both Romney and Trump boast about economic prowess

Romney earns more money paying less tax than ordinary Americans and Trump ..well ...he has to sell his ideas or schemes to naive investors

Besides, these two boys can't really be compared to real businessmen, the philantropists Bill Gates and Warren Buffett

Trump and Romney are like midgets compared to these 2 giants who are as humble as they are waelthy

Romney makes money by purchasing businesses, firing all the employees and selling off everything he can for maximum profit. Then he ships the carcass off to foreign soil where workers are paid $30 a month – if they're paid at all – to sell a lower quality product back to the declining middle class Americans – CHEAP!
