TOPICS: Are taxes too high; are taxes fair

People are waking up to how badly the predators and psychopaths lurking among the 1% have corrupted our government, our economy and our country. The tax code is just one good example of how deeply embedded this corruption is. Notice also how the GOBP's corrupt thugs in the Senate willfully gave the finger to the 70% of Americans who want the millionaire tax. We need to start by voting them out of office.
Taxes are fair as long as you don't have to pay any like over 40% of the people now I am tired of paying for babies I don't have, housing I don't live in, food I don't eat, and cloths I don wear for people on their second and third generation of welfare it's not supposed to work that way.
We need to stop rewarding people for doing nothing they need to stop making babies and find work like I did growing cutting yards, shine shoes, and deliver papers anything that was legal to make a living for my family but it looks like most people on welfare have no pride and want everything given to them. Our streets could be cleaned up but we can't use people on welfare why not.
Does anyone know the number of people that pay NO tax at all?. More than the rich who pay the most.
Taxes are the lowest in 50 years, thanks to President Obama. Yet tea baggers are still out waging their phony Fox foreign owned media war against the president. Any attempt to create fairness in the tax system has been stopped by the republicans who have waged class warfare against 98% of Americans over the last 30 years.
Looking at the details of the poll, half the Republicans think the tax system favors the rich and over 2/3 of the entire population thinks so. Also, note that not enough liberals and minorities were included in the poll to run separate statistics on those groups. Also, it appears that Republicans, in general, and Teapartiers in particular, seem to be over-represented in the poll, given their actual populations. They polled similar numbers of Democrats and Republicans even though Democrats hold a 33% to 25% advantage in the population. There were almost as many TP polled as TP detractors, even though the TP is easily less than 10% of the overall population. The takeaway is that this poll is probably somewhat biased to understating the portion of the population that thinks the tax system favors the rich. No surprise. It does.
When Bush made the capital gains rate 15%, he inarguably made the tax system unfair.
Republicans like to whine about class warfare this or picking on the wealthy that. Democrats didn't single out the "job creators." Republican economic ideology single them out, giving them highly preferential treatment. For what? The policies have stalled the economy because it has drained the middle class of cash for discretionary spending. Demand has dropped. Jobs have dried up.
Amazingly, Republicans continue to say more of the same will somehow fix everything overnight. What's even more amazing is the number of people out there who seriously believe them.
47% of "tax payers" pay no federal income tax. How does the system favor the wealthy?
