Nugent threatens death if Obama wins in November

(CNN) – Rocker Ted Nugent did little to quell his reputation as a conservative firebrand through comments at the National Rifle Association convention when he took aim (pun intended) at high profile members of the Barack Obama administration and voiced support for presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

The Romney-backer, musician, activist, NRA board member and tea party figure encouraged an NRA audience over the weekend to help oust the current administration.

"If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year," Nugent said, according to a video posted on YouTube by the NRA. "If you can't go home and get everybody in your lives to clean house in this vile, evil America hated administration, I don't even know what you're made out of."

He accused the government of "wiping its ass with the Constitution you're living under a rock some place" and labeled members of the Obama administration, including the vice president, attorney general and secretary of state "criminals."

"We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November. Am I, any questions?" Nugent said.

This is not the first time Nugent has vividly espoused his views. In fact, the NRA has a section of its website devoted to some of his statements, including profanity-laced comments and threats directed at then candidates Obama and Hillary Clinton during the last election cycle.

Responding to the comments from Nugent, who announced his support for the former Massachusetts governor in March, Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said "Divisive language is offensive no matter what side of the political aisle it comes from."

"Mitt Romney believes everyone needs to be civil," she added.

Saul's reaction followed a call from Democratic National Committee Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz to denounce the remarks. Wasserman Schultz sent out an email to supporters on Tuesday to solicit donations off the comments she called "despicable, deplorable and completely beyond the pale."

"Romney's surrogates should know better than to rally the troops with outrageous rhetoric that is unacceptable in our political debate," the Florida representative said in a statement. "Mitt Romney must condemn Nugent's violent and hateful rhetoric immediately, as it has no place in our political discourse or this campaign."

Remember Men in Black when the moron NRA fool told the alien, "you can have my gun when you pry it from my cold dead hands." The alien's response was. "Your offer is acceptable." Well Ted, jail or dead, in either case your offer is acceptable.

Ted Nugent and the ones cheering for him cannot stand that a black man is in office , plain and simple. President Obama is not threatening their guns. They are racists. They have no place in America of 2012. If Nugent wants to kill himself he would be doing America a favor.

Just another anti American, fascist, tea party whack job. I would be more than happy to contribute to him being dead or locked up somewhere, along with all the other tea party Taliban. Never liked him or his music anyway.

I guess what bothers me the most is that the Republicans always say that their conservative Christians....yet, they are not Christ like in anyway, shape,or form. They really give GOD a BAD NAME. So Anonymous, your party is the biggest HYPOCRITES I've ever seen in my life. They spur so much evil that it's unbelieveable at times.

This man is more dangerous than merely another blustering ignoramus celebrity mouthing off; because this kind of talk somehow always reaches the extremely unstable and sometimes pushes them off the edge. Free speech is one thing, but that does mean he has to get coverage and media exposure. Let his free speech be private until it withers and dies in its isolation. I would be happy to see him leave the country. He is what we used to call white trash, and there is no one who hates black people more than piece of white trash like this guy because he mistakenly believes there is someone lower than he is. There isn't.

I just hope someone got Ted's comments in writing, and that he signed it. I think there will be enough volunteers for a firing squad if that's the way Ted wants to go out.

Hey Chicken Nuggets, do yourself a favor, abandon your current drug suppliers. They must have genetically altered your usual drug of choice 'speeeeeed'.

Nugent needs to take an in-depth course in anger management.

This guy should have been in jail a long time ago.
I hope he tries something and the Secret Service blows his empty head off.
I wonder if anyone remembers when he said he wanted to put his gun in the president's mouth.
Homeland Security needs to address this home grown Teahadist.

The right wing exports hate. That is why we do not have to worry about them in November. Americans don't want them anymore.

  13. Huh?

WHEN Obama wins in 2012, I fully expect Ted Nugent to make his promises all true.

That right wing nut job needs to keep the vitriol down and I bet the Secret Service will pay a DEFINITE visit to the nut job.

    Obama 2012.

Having this guy as a spokesperson for gun rights is like having a greedy businessman trying to become president.Who would ever consider promoting these public relations disasters not a very stable group of citizens kind of scary when you get down to it the kind of people you would see in a mob imagine if they were angry and went out on an island with a gun to "protect themselves"

LMAO! This has-been keeps talking like this to stay relevant, no other reason. If he really thinks he's that patriotic then he should run for office....and when he loses in a landslide perhaps he'll come to the realization that his particular brand of crazy is not as agreed upon as he might think!

No one has admonished Maher for the Palin comments, not publicly at least. And no, saying that you don't support his vile comments is not admonishment. When his donations are refused, and HBO subscriptions dive because of his show, then we will have progress.
    -------------
No one has admonished Rep. West for his remarks, and he's a sitting member of Congress.

You fail to realize that Nugent was a well PAID speaker at an high priced conservative fund raiser. He was not making jokes, a la Maher. Nugent was being serious.

Tell me, when did Obama say he'd confiscate guns? What is with these reactionary lying lunatics anyway? Yes, a win/win when Obama wins. Can we choose the gun you'll use, Ted? I'd like to have a game animal pull the trigger; that'd be karmic justice.

This guy is at an NRA convention talking about killing people, "chop their heads off"? And Mr. Romney calls him to get an endorsement? And one of Mr. Romney's kids tweets how excited he is to have this endorsement? What kind of killing field are GOPers willing to vote for?

Time for Ted to go away! He spews nothing but venom, and has been doing it for years! Nobody wants to take your precious guns, Ted, but the way you're acting, maybe it's not a bad idea! Just keep your mouth shut. Nobody will miss you anyway, so keep your promise.....we're gonna hold you to it!
