Washington (CNN) - Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich will end his presidential bid on Wednesday in Washington, D.C., a source close to the former House speaker told CNN.
Previous reports said Gingrich would likely quit the race on Tuesday.
Gingrich will be free to concentrate full-time on committing more adultery; good for him.
Poor delusional Newt, thinking Wednesday will give everyone a chance to reconsider. Sorry Newt, no King of the Moon for you.
. . . and Calista, she'll just remain a 'Home Wrecker'.
The news here is, "This unethical character's campaign was over from day one and he's only just realizing it." Imagine if he was running our nation? Sort of like riding on a bus with a sleeping bus driver.
Goos riddance. I hope he does not show up anymore on the political scene.
I thought he had already quit. The width of his head is surpassed only by that of his ego.
This is rich, someone should explain to Newt that his candidacy ended months ago and no one cares who he endorses or supports. The mind bending hypocrisy of supporting the person you were just fighting tooth and nail for the nomination and slinging crap at is typical of today's politicians. I guess we can all call you and Rick "flip-floppers" now that you are doing it too.

It was a good fight... but I guess it is time...
I think he should wait until Thursday
Newt, buddy! Welcome to three months ago!
Awesome, so that leaves Ron Paul, who is winning delegates like crazy in the last week.
Odd, that tremendous success is not mentioned here.
Was there ever any doubt...?
Finally! What took him so long to realize that he just does not have what it takes. Mosly honesty. He cheats the Government on consulting contracts ( Fannie Mae) and he is just not an honest trustworthy person. Glad he stoped waisting Taxpayers money and time.
sweet. no one cares.
So that leaves Ron Paul and also Romney as well.
Ron Paul, do the same.
Newt, I'm proud of you.
Two men in the race like everybody says.
So soon? Maybe after Mittens gets shellacked this year, Newt will try again in 2016. By then, people may be ready for a conservative to take us back to bigger tax breaks for big oil, big business, big banks, Wall Street, and billionaires; and voters will want to go back to a Bush republican near depression.
