Chantilly, Virginia (CNN) - At a small business in a northern Virginia suburb, Mitt Romney compared President Barack Obama's economic policies Wednesday to one-term Democratic President Jimmy Carter.
"Who would have guessed we would look back at the Carter years as the good old days," Romney said, after calling the Obama administration "the most anti-small business administration I've seen probably since Carter."

It was the second time this week that Romney has invoked Carter in criticizing Obama. On Monday he was asked whether he would have issued the same order as the president for the mission to kill Osama bin Laden. Romney said "even Jimmy Carter would" have made that decision.
In Wednesday's remarks, Romney, a longtime businessman and former Massachusetts governor, suggested Obama's failed policies were a result of his lack of business experience.
"What the president has done – and I think unknowingly never having spent any time in the private sector himself is – what the president did was – one item after another, make it harder and harder for small business to thrive and to grow and start up."
As Obama returned from a surprise trip to Afghanistan, Romney has used his appearances to focus on the state of the economy.
"Americans are tired of being tired of this economy and of this president and they want real change," said Romney.
Ann Romney introduced her husband at the event, which was held at a woman-owned business and geared toward women and the economy. In the midst of female entrepreneurs and businesswomen she said, "women actually do make the world go round."
Surrounded by materials in a warehouse for the company, Exhibit Edge, Romney told the audience people often ask the two-time presidential candidate what he would do to improve the economy.
"Look at what the president's done and do the opposite," he said.

With Ann Romney telling Mitt she listen to women all the time and know their wants and needs, why did'nt she give him advice about the Lilly (Obama already) Led-better bill. Is there something about the new crop of GOP leaders that makes them incapable of finishing the jobs they start? Obama cut taxes, so Mittens would raise them.
Obama saved the US auto industry and 1 million jobs, so Mittens would let them die.
Obama proposed cost savings in Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security and $4 billion in deficit reduction – all of which Mittens opposes.

First of all, if Ann Romeny wants to keep inserting herself into the fight, then conservatives shouldn't whine when someone calls her out. She's fair game now.
Second, Romney has no original ideas. Obama attacks him on his war against women, and Romney tries to comeback with the same statement. Obama compares his policy to Bush, and Romney comes back with comparing him to Carter. How can Romney come up with ideas to fix the economy if he can't even come up with a good comeback?
And I guess he doesn't care about the youth vote. Who's going to remember Carter's policies?

Instead of governing and leading ... once again, Obama is exploiting the Presidency, our tax dollars, and even America's Foreign Policy, in a desperate attempt to get himself reelected.
Romney won't get specific because there is no real argument here. Romney has endorsed the Ryan plan that would balloon the national debt with massive tax breaks people like Romney. Mitt makes over $20 million a year and pays an effective tax rate under 14%, while people making $80,000 are paying about 25% when you count SS tax. Yet, Romney wants even lower taxes, even at the expense of our future. We've seen this movie before, it is how Reagan tripled the national debt and Bush doubled it.
Romney has promised to cut taxes 20% accross the board, increase military spending, protect social security and medicare, AND balance the budget. It's a lie because it is simply not possible and Romney and his advisors know it. He is lying to get votes. Don't buy the bill of goods he is selling. We the People will get left holding the bag, and Romney and his friends will be laughing all the way to the Cayman Islands.
