The only political fire I see is whatever the GOP is going to do to explain to Americans that despite promising jobs 2 years ago that they in fact, DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The whole lot oof them ought to be enjoying time in Gitmo for being so heartily anti-American.

Wasn't Viginia's governor today said his State has the lowest unemployment rate? Sure, If Pentagon gets cut, he won't brag again. Can Romney create jobs? sure, he will buy out all businesses, fire everyone, shut down and ship the business overseas, and keep the profits offshore, Give tax break to the 1% and oil companies. Keep quiet, what Swiss bank accounts ? Oh, that will do it.

Yep – take it from the Flip-Flopper – Unemployment should be at 4%; another so-called candidate from the Right stated that he could get gas down to $2.50 per gallon. Are they living in a "fantasy world" for this time or not???

First of all, the PUBS are the cause for the "sluggish" unemployment rate drop; they destroyed government jobs by the hundred of thousands or maybe "millions" – But yet, President Obama "ADDED" private sector jobs "by the millions." What if the RE-THUGS did not KILL THOSE GOVERNMENT JOBS – they know we were in a recession and they CRIED you cannot cut taxes during this time and they also knew you "shouldn't" cut jobs??? Look at what happened in the UK when the RE-THUGS over there did the same thing – cut government jobs = "double recession."

WAKE UP America – The Republicans CAUSED the almost DEPRESSION and they're goal is to TRY and cause a "double-dip recession." Remember their other goal – "Our goals is to make President Obama a 'one-term president.'

Obama 2012 – The Only Trusted Way Forward!! Seriously!

Obama:, " The economy produced 130,000 new jobs in America in April, but we have got to do more."
Did his speechwriter forget to put in the part where the economy lost 140,000 jobs in America in April? This is correct. One critical factor Obama is trying to mislead his audience ( i.e., All Americans really ) about is that there are actually fewer American jobs at the end of April than there were at the beginning. Didn't get that from his speech, did you?

But in answer to his question, No, you have done enough already. We have had enough of your administration's "help".

The GOP is thrilled at the report. They're cheering for failure. Real patriots should easily recognize the GOP as the America-hating domestic terrorists that they are. Voting for them and supporting them equates to giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Hahahahaha...........I'm sorry Obama--Romney has not been in office for 4 years as President, YOU HAVE!!

It was YOUR failed policies that are destroying our economy, unemployment rate, gas prices, housing market, and country--not Romney's!!

No more hoax and chains in 2012!! We want "real" hope and change-–Romney 2012!!

If anyone voting in November thinks there is magic bullet decision or even multiple decisions to get employment numbers back down to 4% that Romney alluded too, whoever is president is living in a larger style of hope than Obama ever dreamed of!!
I still want to know why Republicans opposed AJA as the CBO anlysis or other economists said it created between 1 to 2m jobs ( CBO 1.6m) was deficit and debt neutral and improved GDP to over 3%
    1) It would have got Obama re-elected
    2) We cant agree, we made a pledge to Grover Norquist.... cough cough voters who are they? Our PAC money providers much more important.

Mitt Romney should be asking his GOP pundents where are jobs? They would not pass the Jobs Bill they are just the party of NO. Yes, you said it right we are not stupid Mitt you didn't create jobs when you were Governor and you used Federal Funds for the Olympics and sent your money to Swiss Banks and other places.

So i ask the question are we better off now or would the country be better off with you? The answer is simple NO we are headed in the right direction.

You said that everything that President Obama has done you would reverse it and that's exactly what got this country in this mess. FOLKS WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES

Romney has the audacity to criticize President Obama for slow job growth, and Romney as governor of Massachusetts was number 47 out of 50 states for job creation. Massachusetts came in third from the BOTTOM. If Romney couldn't improve the unemployment conditions of a small single state, how on earth can he improve the unemployment rate for all 50 states? He's lying if he says he can.

I'm finally understanding what the "hope and change" was all about. People looking for work have lost "hope" and are now "changing" their tactics by giving up.

  19. Don't be duped by the MSM

The MSM is trying to make everyone think Mitt Romney is already the GOP candidate to run against Obama in the general election. The truth is the GOP race is still on, just getting started really. For accurate election coverage check out -- Also, -- Reality Check with Ben Swann on Facebook and YouTube. We need the media to start reporting the news accurately again!!!

  24. The Greedy Old Pigs declared class war on US!

It's pretty funny how many of the low-information rightwing hatemonkeys were all poutraged about the yesterday's job numbers, as if this weeks report should determine the election. In the meantime, the GOBP cult refuses to acknowledge its huge role in the economic meltdown due to the GOBP cult's failed policies and general fiscal irresponsibility.

  25. Living in the REAL world

Gotta give it to Obama... He sure does know how to drive millions right out of the workforce. Another 4 years of this and nobody will have a job. But the unemployment rate will be 0% because of the decitful way they calculate the unemployment rate. Wake up America. You're being scammed.
