BLITZER'S BLOG: Obama’s glaring omission

(CNN) – President Obama’s campaign has released a powerful new 60-second ad touting his accomplishments since taking office. It points specifically to the U.S. auto industry coming back, the killing of Osama bin Laden, the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq and the improving U.S. economy. “Instead of losing jobs,” the announcer on the ad says, “we’re creating them – over 4.2 million so far.”

Those are all good points. But in that ad, I noticed that the Obama-Biden campaign once again failed to mention what is arguably the administration’s number one legislative achievement over the past three-and-a-half years: the health care reform law.

    OK, add to it, "mission accomplished". Health care is a sign of responsible Amercian, everyone benefit from it. Reagan couldn't do it! Clinton almost done it! Obama delivers it!

    So what the heck is the Grand Obstructionist Party going to do – if by some slim chance they actually win in Nov – when $7 TRILLION in automatic cuts starts on Jan 1, 2013 ???
    How come they're not talking about that – other than not wanting to cut defense. What's Mittens going to do..?? Oh wait, that's at least 7 or so months away, he's got plenty of time to flip-flop multiple times and try to fool the faithful!
