The money raised at the gathering will go to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee of the Obama re-election campaign, the Democratic National Committee and several state Democratic parties.
The Obama re-election campaign and the DNC brought in a combined $53 million in March. The campaign had $104 million cash on hand as of April 1. Obama's 2008 campaign for the White House broke all records by raising nearly $750 million.
Biden was the main attraction at fundraisers Monday in Tennessee and Georgia. The vice president starts Tuesday in Atlanta, where he speaks to the Rabbinical Assembly's annual convention.

Hopefully the Administration is subsidizing the gathering. Just like when the 1980's band Mr. Mister is selling concert tickets in 2012, people go," ...Joe who again?"
Obama sends him to the democratic strongholds of Tennessee and Georgia yesterday. Today he goes to the liberal bastion of South Carolina. Safe to say, Obama will only send this buffoon to where he can do no damage.
