(CNN) - Eying to be the next first lady, Ann Romney offered praise for the current first lady and said Michelle Obama does a good job handling the pressure of having a husband in the White House.
"I think she's lovely," Ann Romney, wife of the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, said in a Fox News interview aired Friday.

She added the first lady's role "is a very difficult position to be in," one in which the husband faces "enormous scrutiny all the time."
Ann Romney praised Michelle Obama for keeping her calm and having "composure."
"We appreciate that and see that in her," she said.
Michelle Obama, herself, became one of the first high-profile figures to back Ann Romney in April after a Democratic strategist accused her of having "never worked a day in her life" as a stay-at-home mother.
"Every mother works hard, and every woman deserves to be respected," Michelle Obama posted on Twitter.
Also in the interview Friday, Ann Romney touched on the selection process of her husband's potential running-mate. She said it "always fun to talk about" but joked "it's not like I'm his advisor," offering no inside details on the search.
Asked however, if it was import for the wife of his vice presidential pick to be someone she could get along with, Ann Romney said: "Well that would be a plus, but I don't think that will be part of the discussion."

That was a classy comment from a classy lady, unlike the classless Sarah Palin!
Ann Romney: Michelle Obama is 'lovely' she is not only lovely but she is also a woman of faith married to a great man who happens to be a lousy President.
Ann Romney is a real class act. She will make a GREAT first lady. I'm sure she's been proud of her country her whole life.
How quaint. And by the way Ann, it is not "your turn". Sorry to say you will never live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Ann Romney is lovely, too.
She will make a great first lady, as MO does.
I am Ann will be our next first lady comes November!!

She will make a great first lady, as MO does.
I am absolutely sure Ann will be our next first lady comes November!!
Although I will be the first one to say it should not be any consideration when considering who to vote for, Ann Romney is a genuinely classy woman from everything we have seen about her.
What no "poor Ann" stories. It seems she's looking to attract some of Michelle's character. I'm still NOT impressed with her. Vain, spoiled and lazy. Not traits, I'm looking for in a First Lady.
Mrs. Roney is a real lady.
This is one thing me and Mrs. Romney agree on – Michelle Obama IS lovely!!
OBAMA/BIDEN/FIRST LADY MICHELLE 2012
"it's not like I'm his advisor,"
-Ann Doublethink
"We're each other's best friends and closest advisors."
-Michelle Obama
Go ahead, google it...I'm not making it up. Now, just let the contrast speak for itself.
This is the type of rhetoric and respect that we should expect out of all the elected officials. Nicely done Mrs. Romney and our First Lady.
BTW Ann – did you think your husband was "funny" and a "prankster" when he assaulted his former classmate?
I can't tell you how "funny" I thought that was.
"We're each other's best friends and closest advisors."
-Michelle Obama

Ah, Michelle - so we have YOU to thank for the mess we're in. Thanks a lot!
"I think she's lovely," Ann Romney, wife of the presumptive GOP presidential nominee,
Until you see your husband "losing" AGAING and then your TRUE colors will prevail. Any $10,000 bets?
Michelle is a wonderful First Lady and has shown that she is truely a real lady.....unlike the vile comments made about her by the Republican Party and Tea Party that have referred to her in such mean sprited comments like Rush Limbaugh and the people of America that can't stand the fact that this First Black Frist Lady stands up equally if not about some other the other First Ladies and certainly above the Republican women that have run for Political office
@Bush 2012 – BEND Over America, take another 8 years of FAILURE
Ann Romney is a real class act. She will make a GREAT first lady. I'm sure she's been proud of her country her whole life.

Now this is the perfect example of a woman with absolutely NO class.
How about we focus on the candidates here... This isn't really relevant to the election of the president (or next one).
Quite a condescending comment from someone who is supposed to be 'educated'
Flattery will get you nowhere.
Michele Obama for Flotus 2012.
Neither Michelle nor Ann are office holders, nor do they have any responsibilitites under the Consitution. As such, their views are those of the average citizen and their opinions carry little, if any, weight.
Therefore both are irrelevant for the purposes of this presidential campaign.
Low-life right-wing nutts attack anyone and everyone who has a different opinion than their own. To the GOP cave-people the First Ladies and their families are fair game – as they proven with their sleazy behavior toward the Clinton & Obama families.
Mrs. Romney at this time seems to be an exception, let’s “hope” she doesn’t “change”.
@Four – "Although I will be the first one to say it should not be any consideration when considering who to vote for, Ann Romney is a genuinely classy woman from everything we have seen about her."

Classy or not, she's totally out of touch (as is Mittens) about family issues and the challenges that face the average working family. Totally clueless....
