As Romney fought for delegates, Obama team was lying in wait

(CNN) - With Mitt Romney's victories in the April 24 Republican primaries, a new phase of the campaign began at Obama re-election headquarters in Chicago. After a year spent hiring staff and building an organization, Obama for America finally had what it had been waiting for: an opponent.

"The monologue is over," Obama campaign manager Jim Messina said the day after Romney's conclusive five-state primary sweep. "Now Romney has to put his record and his agenda up against the president's, and we look forward to that debate. The general election might just be starting, but we've been at this for more than a year in Chicago."

Are you kidding me CNN? We have to go back 50 years to find dirt on this guy? All you libs must be shaking in your boots knowing the end is near for the empty suit that was never vetted appropriately by the main stream media. It took Fox News which you all detest to discuss the Rev.Wright issues and concerns back in 2008. That alone should have eliminated Obama from any bid at the White House. Talk about character flaws, a man and his family attend a racist church for twenty years and hangs out with radical left wing crazies like Bill Ayers and you all and the main stream media say nothing.... You people disgust me.

First, let me say that I'm a republican. For those of you who think this is not important or some Democratic witchhunt, let me take a moment to explain to you why it is important. Being President is about character and judgment. Judgment to make the right decisions. Judgment went to send our forces into war, who to nominate for a Supreme Court judgment, and went to take your finger off the button. I'm sincerely troubled by Romney's response to these allegations. He "cannot recall?" Another famous Republican used this line back in the '90's? Ring any bells? There are 2 possibilities here: (1) Romney is blatantly lying; or (2) Romney didn't think holding someone down and cutting their hair off was a significant memory. Either way, it is problematic. If it was an isolated incident, I wouldn't worry about it. But, we've already heard what he did to his dog. He tied it to the roof of his car and drove it around while terrified. These incidents are evidence of the obvious conclusion that Mitt Romney is a childish, spoiled, rich-brat, who is a narcissist and doesn't understand or care about the feelings of others. SImply put, he's inconsiderate to others and only thinks of himself. Politics aside, is this the kind of person we want for President?

"We are seeing a greater and greater gap between those that have the most and those that have the least," Romney said recently at an event in New Hampshire, touching on a favorite theme of the Obama campaign. "The president's focused on taking away from those that have the least. I want to help everybody particularly those that are being left behind. I want to help the poor. I want to help the middle class get the kinds of jobs that raise their income. Let's focus on helping the people who need the help the most."

This isn't even funny anymore. Just sad. For all his wealth, the man just can't seem to get past the "buy a clue" campaign strategy. This comment is right up there with "I'll take credit for the auto bailout".

Mitt Romney is no more mentally prepared to become President than Palin would have been. Thanks, but no thanks to the bridge going nowhere in Alaska, and thanks but no thanks to Mitt Romney "I'm rubber, you're glue" going nowhere in America. Guy can't even think up his own campaign speeches - he's got to steal them from his opponent.

Character counts. Anyone who has ever been bullied or loved someone that was bullied, understands why Romney's refusal to own up to this or why putting a sick dog on the roof of your car is wrong. Mitt has a narcissitic personality, that shows a callusness to other's suffering that is appalling.
