As Romney fought for delegates, Obama team was lying in wait

(CNN) - With Mitt Romney's victories in the April 24 Republican primaries, a new phase of the campaign began at Obama re-election headquarters in Chicago. After a year spent hiring staff and building an organization, Obama for America finally had what it had been waiting for: an opponent.

"The monologue is over," Obama campaign manager Jim Messina said the day after Romney's conclusive five-state primary sweep. "Now Romney has to put his record and his agenda up against the president's, and we look forward to that debate. The general election might just be starting, but we've been at this for more than a year in Chicago."

  1. Obama 2012 - BEND Forward America, take another 4 long years of FAILURE

And Obama has been campaigning and fund raising at the tax payers expense while ignoring his duties as Presdient. Obama has fundamentally transformed himself from an empty suit to a fraud.

What other far left agenda items does Obama support? When will he be honest with the American people and come out of the socialist closet as well??

Obama has to put forward his record against Romney. That will be easy. Obama is all about debt, deficits, unemployment, higher energy, giving in to dictators and terrorists, etc.

Romney has no solid agenda that I've seen yet. He has been running on the "I'm not him so vote for me" ticket. Ideas, Mr. Romney, give us some solid ideas.

"We are seeing a greater and greater gap between those that have the most and those that have the least," Romney said recently at an event in New Hampshire...

And as much as Obama can talk and talk and talk, voters in November know that in the last 3 years Obama has not delivered to the working American like he has delivered to the 1%. Who is doing well now that Obama's actual policies have had a chance to play out? Union bosses. Bankers. Fortune 500 companies. Foreclosure lawyers. Large Democratic Doners. But not the Americans on Main Street working for a paycheck. If they are lucky enough to have that opportunity.

Romney 'fought' for delegates? What a crock of crap. The Kochs and Rove 'bought' the delegates. In FL alone, Mittens threw over $15 million in negative ads against Newt to win 30 delegates. Mittens has run a campaign of lies, misinformation, deception, and has changed positions as often as right wingnuts changed their underwear.

Mittens does not fight. He is a limp wristed spineless chicken hawk who will jump in when a defenseless person is held down by a half dozen people and then he feels safe and does the cutting. What a preppy wuss Mittens is.

Romney dug his own grave by constantly pandering to the far-right and leaving himself stuck between "very moderate" and "severely conservative". The "credit for saving the auto industry" was so delusional it made people laugh. He's lucky he's just know as "Mr. Etch-A-Sketch" rather than "Mr. Pants-On-Fire".

Why is CNN not drawing the very simple link from these stories of how Deputy Doublethink bullied a fellow student in high school for being different and what he did as governor to the commission charged with advocating on behalf of gay youth and students and creating programs to educate the public about bullying and help students who have suffered bullying?

I mean, what more could you want in terms of a link between past behavior and how someone would govern? That is PRECISELY the kind of information you shoudl be providing to the public, but you don't have the stones.

Maybe there is more than one liar here. Maxwell proves himself to be a liar in this article. At one place in the article it says he told ABC he is an independent and then later he says he won't be voting for Romney because he is a Democrat. One of those statements is a lie.

I remember bullies in high school. Some of them are now cops and still want to bully people, but in a different way now. I do not believe this type of character flaw can totally change unless the bully was bullied and learned a lesson. Without learning a lesson, we as humans do not change our ways totally. People who say it should not reflect the person are wrong and probably did some things when they were younger that they regret, but do not want to deal with. This simply exemplifies why he likes to fire people or why he likes to dismantle companies and hurt the employees to make himself richer. Bullying in another way.

Sorry, but if a guy could do something like that, even in high school, and not feel guilt for the rest of his life, he is not a "principled person" or a "great guy." Great guys have consciences. (as for the Roger Ailes contingent lying again about the President, you are pathetic. Just pathetic.)

Wow, pulling this article from something stupid done approximately 40 years ago. This has real merit, I mean I voted for Obama for his academic achievement made in Middle School. Way to go CNN, more stupid articles posted to get away from real issues like job creation (or lack thereof), or the lack of progress on international issues such as Syria and Iran just to name a few...

    Let's see:
    Grew up in privaledge
Picked on kids below him in the pecking order (even priviledged prep school classmates)
Walked a blind teacher into a door for laughs
Went to Bain and profited as corporate raider – gutting solvent companies and putting tens of tousands out of work
Governor of Mass with spotty record – 47th in job creation
Took over Salt Lake Olympics – fixed them, but with a boatload of public money
Repeatedly changing positions on almost every major issue as politically convenient
Does not appear to even understand what the average American goes through and really doesn't seem to care much

Romney: No stable guiding values! Little empathy! Out of touch!

And we should elect this guy as POTUS why?

All I can say is WOW. UNBELIEVABLE that anyone cares what someone did in High School, Grade School or pre-school. It would be pathetic for either side to actually feel the need to go back to when someone was a 'child' and then try to make the connection that something someone did 35 years ago has relevance to someone's character today.

So, if we are going back to someone when they were that much younger, lets look at Obama for doing drugs...lets see how Obama's grades were in college...I think that would be a better indication of character and performance. Let's go back to the school days where ever Obama actually went to High School, grade school and see what he was up to. Oh wait, not allowed to look at Obama's past.... he gets a free pass for obvious reasons.
