ON THE TRAIL: May 11, 2012

(CNN) – The candidates and their campaigns hold public events Friday, making stops in North Carolina and Nevada.

See their schedules after the jump.

1 p.m. ET – Presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney holds a campaign event in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Also Friday, President Barack Obama heads to Reno, Nevada to deliver remarks at 3:20 p.m. ET on housing and the economy. According to the White House, the event is aimed at encouraging Congress to act on the "to-do list" Obama proposed earlier this week.

First lady Michelle Obama will give the commencement address to graduates at Virgina Tech at 12 p.m. ET.

    I think that Mitt should stay out of North Carolina. We dont need his racits remarks. Let him go the southern states that are raciits and do his compaiging there. They appreciate a guy like him.

    bully?? one that needs to be the leader even if it is wrong and does harm!! a bully would not take food stamps (food) out of the ouths of chldren or seniors citizens. a bully would not take halth care from a child or a senior who has no money. what is a bully?? look at romeny, the perfect so called man or human who has no shame or guts that hurt when come one is down. hame on the this rich guy who will fall to his knees one of these days. talk llike aman, but when will you walk llike a man??? keep him away from a job where he has the ultimante rule, we poor and middle calss will never have a job that pays more than $5.00 per hour, while his rich friends take the ret of the profit and it will never trickle down to us..

    Now that we have learned that the GOP candidate for president is not only a liar, but a bully, a thug, gay basher, money launderer, tax evader, corporate raider, job destroyer, flip flopper, personhood supporter, social security destroyer, medicare eliminating, Ryan budget supporter who wants to give even bigger tax breaks to the wealthy at the expense of the poor and middle class, he makes Newt look more presidential.

    By Mittens saying he should get credit for the success for the auto bailout and other programs that he was opposed to, it is obvious that he is delusional and suffering from the Walter Mitty Syndrome. To Mittens, because he he rich, he is entitled.
