You know, Teartrolls, if you take your poutrage over to FoodNetwork's website, you might be able to find a recipe that makes all this crow more palatable.

Like I've said repeatedly.... It was all about Obama's lagging campaign contributions and poll numbers. He is getting DESPERATE. The gay community was the last group he could pander to and buy off.

It seems there is a lot of money envy coming from the right wingnuts. If they had a candidate who was not a liar, the Kochs and Rove would not have to generate almost a billion dollars themselves to try make Mittens seem presidential.

There you have it, that is what it was all about. The Kenyan village idiot also hopes it will distract the NEA dumded down society from the inept, incompetent, corrupt job his union toady administration has done on the economy. Another how am I going to fool them today moment for Obozo and his willing allies in the liberally biased media.

"It was all about Obama's lagging campaign contributions and poll numbers"

Are yuo serious? He's been setting records and outraising Deputy Doublethink 10 to 1 and yet you think he needed to do something desperate to get more money? Man....is there anything you guys won't invent in your own tinfoil hatted heads while in a fit of confirmation bias? The contra-factual rationalizations you guys come up with are entertaining, to be sure, but also somewhat concerning. Are you feeling ok?

    @BEND - ????????????????
Obama's lagging campaign contributions??/ Surely you jest? Either that or you need pull that head out of the sand. The Obama campaign has OUT funded the entire GOBP clown car for over a year... do a little FACT checking before displaying your blissful igorance (deliberate misspelling BTW).

BEND – You are so typical of a whiny republican. Other than big oil, big banks, Wall Street, and the greedy wealthy GOPers who will always want more tax breaks, the GOP is running out of groups to vote for them

@BEND – BWAHAHAHAHAH – this simply adds MORE to the Obama coffers.. He has almost TRIPLE the funds that Mittens has.... and no DEBT !

I'm disgusted....by his support of gay marriage, by his lies for the last four years, and by his lack of leadership. You wanna throw your money in the toilet, donate it to this campaign...God help us all!

Obama raised more in one event $15 million (Clooney dinner) than Mittens has in his entire operating account. Last report had him with about $8 – 9 million in his campaign account. And Obama has about 160 million on hand now more than 20 times Romney's balance. This does not count April numbers. Anyone who thinks Romney will best Obama in this department is sorely misinformed or delusional.

@Sniffit – Obama is not committing to changing the law. I have yet to see a Bill to change the law. Is he going to put a Bill to change the law nationally? Yes or No or is he going to use the excuse that it is up to the States? Gays/Lesbians are going crazy with this announcement ( I have a few in my family ) but they don't have a commitment from Obama so is he toying with them?

It's not all about monetary support, but raising so much off of one statement should show you how many people are pleased with that statement. I think he did the right thing by "coming out" on that particular issue, and it only highlights the backward thinking of those on the right who continue to deny Americans their civil liberties. This is no different than the outcry when interracial marriage was an issue... and the outcome should be no different. President Obama, as always, is doing what he feels is right – not necessarily what he may deem as popular. I respect him for that.

So true... there are none so blind as those that don't want to see. Plenty of analogies come to mind, but seeing posts like IIya's are a reminder that FACTS and TRUTH have little meaning for the GOBP and it's faithful. Believe it or not, I'm not "bleeding heart liberal"as some seem to think, but I DO believe in both sides holding ADULT discussion based on FACT and TRUTH, not some regurgitated, infantile spoutrage... YMMV

When you can't run on a record of accomplishments, you make up issues.
And then pass them over to the Collaberating News Networks to use as a ruse on the dumbed down masses..

Right on Orchid333! Mitt surely wouldn't have admitted to something that may be unpopular. I'm not giving many haircuts these days – people are digging out their old Flobees – but I am going to scrounge around and find $100 to send to the Obama campaign and I've never given to any presidential primary. Imagine how it must feel for the average joe to write a check to Romney? The guy's a zillionaire. Let him use his own money.

Ummm, do you even know how the legislative process works? More importantly, do you think your GOBP cult would support such a bill or obstruct it? These things don't happen (or not happen) in a vacuum.

I was proud to donate to Obama's campaign for the first time this cycle. His historic comments on marriage equality and the leadership he displayed were impressive. This is a great president and an historic American icon.

    Forward! Obama 2012!

@RealityBites – yeah, reality REALLY bites when you realize you are one of those dumbed down masses, eh?
Nothing bites more than the reality of backing a losing battle coming home to roost. It really bites when your team invents misinformation, ignoring FACTS and TRUTH and continues to regurgitate infantile, amnesiac, revisionist versions of history that are swallowed without question by the faithful. Reality REALLY bites when you find out you've been brainwashed by the GOBP. Yes, reality bites.
