Obama, congressional leaders talk about debt

Washington (CNN) – President Barack Obama and congressional leaders met Wednesday to discuss upcoming budget deadlines, one day after House Speaker John Boehner drew a line in the sand over what could be another bitter showdown between the White House and Congress later this year.

The president focused on his "to-do list" for Capitol Hill, a five-step plan of fiscal policies the White House says is aimed at building economic growth. But Boehner's office said the meeting largely centered on the next scheduled debt ceiling hike, set to go to a vote at the end of the year, along with a "fiscal cliff" of expiring tax policies and new spending cuts coming before Congress, all by January 1.

This is just how dysfunctional Congress is, all thanks to the obstructionist, fascist GOBP regime. They need to be held by their hands like children and be told what to do. The record number of filibusters in the Senate is ridiculous and serious consideration needs to be made to do away with them. I find it downright treasonous to use the filibuster to hold up the COUNTRY'S progress.

Obama to go over to-do list with congressional leaders
    =======================================
How very nice of the President to take time out of his busy campaign and fund raising schedule to discuss the needs of the nation. He's been out there on the taxpayers dime for the last eight months campaigning and fund raising instead of doing his job. The American people have been watching and taking notes. Their to-do list has "Vote Obama OUT" as the number one item.

Boehner needs to bring the list of legislation that the Democrats in the Senate are blocking and refusing to vote on. Once that backlog and Democrat road block is cleared, then Obama can propose more. Until then nothing else needs to be considered because it is just wasting more time. The Democrat Do-Nothing Senate will just block it like they have bene doing for two full years.

ie.., all things not vital to his re-election campaign.

Obama to go over to-do list with congressional leaders:

Order recount from major landslide loss, although no recount is necessary.
    Pack bags.
    Call for Taxi.
Find and turn in keys to White House.
Leave like thief in the night before fellow Democrats that were drug down by my agenda and policies come looking for me.

Increased Defense Spending. (...so they can export Capitalist Imperialism by force)
Privatize Social Security and Ending Medicare. (...so they can line their pockets with pension funds. i.e. USPS)
Starting a holy war against Iran (.... and Islam as a whole.
Denying Basic Civil Rights to LGBT (...so that they will self deport...)
Decrease Oil and Gas Production to drive up prices (...so that they can suck more federal leases and not use them)

Really? Oil production has increased, the sanctions in Iran are working, and his budget proposal is the only one along with Ron Paul's that reduces the deficit. This contrasts well with Rmoney's (and Paul "The Undertaker" Ryan's) deficit INCREASE plan. The president also offered a spending reduction plan the GOBP cult refused because their precious billionaire owners would have to pay more in taxes. Any other lies for today?

The voters will be going their 'to do list' and number one on that list will be voting this failure out of office.
