RGA ad weighs in again on Wisconsin race

(CNN) – The Republican Governor's Association released a new ad Wednesday arguing Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett would move Wisconsin backwards if elected governor in June's recall election.

Barrett, who won the Democratic nomination for the seat last week, "raised taxes every year but one," the RGA ad said. Unemployment in his city went up 28%, the ad said.

The campaign of Republican Gov. Scott Walker, who is defending his seat, has leveled similar criticism against Barrett.

A spokesman for the RGA said the ad, their second to hit Wisconsin airwaves in two weeks, was a major statewide buy but declined to say for how much.

"Scott Walker is desperate to divert attention from the fact that Walker has lead Wisconsin to the worst jobs record of any state in the country, and has a legal defense fund as part of an ongoing criminal probe of several of his closest political associates," Barrett spokesman Phillip Walzak said in response to the RGA ad. "They will do anything to distract the people of Wisconsin from the truth about Scott Walker."

Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz said in a tweet posted Tuesday that she would personally assist Barrett by visiting the state to fundraise and recruit volunteers for his campaign.

Voters head to the polls in Wisconsin on June 5.

People of Milwaukee were happy with him leaving after being elected governor. If someone up in Wisconsin did an independant investigation of Walker,he'd be indicted for campaign fraud, with the Koch brothers, giving them unpresidented tax breaks, then publicly saying that the state is in a financial crisis and has to cut state workers, who happen to be union, and their retirement benefits, contracts to cover the difference, the exact same difference that the tax breaks were for the corporate jackles, the ones behind he and Romneys Super Pac funds, they're major players, these republican extremists. They have been known to contribute well over 200 million with big oil to put the people best suited to their extreme corporate views and agendas.Walker,Kasich,Haley ,Christie and Floridas Rick Scott ,all have to go,our futures well being as a country depends on it,don't let these hypocrites continue their delusional agandas because they're devaluating politically and economically each state and making themselves rich in the process. That's all they're in there for,not the people, only for themselves and their corporate masters....

Scott's only honest to some billionaires. Time for him to be beamed up. We need a Badger to run our state, not a common weasel!

DNC will not give money b/c money to the DNC is for the national convention, not for a state election; however, Debbie can provide information to help the State contact donors to the DNC to ask them to give directly to this state election.

Governor Walker raided the states coffers in the name of creating jobs by giving the states money to corporations and then failed miserably in job creation. Then he fired school teachers, fireman, reduced services provided by the State, sold state assets. Many people want desperately to believe the GOP agenda in still aligned with conservative principles fail to see, what the world sees, Walker was a BBBBAAAAAADDDDD!!!!! Governor!!!! Now the money is pouring into the State from out side the state, in an effort to continue the deception and obfuscate the GOP’s hidden agenda.

The GOP is no longer represents conservatives, rather they are now radically only for the top 1% ... bought, sold, and paid for my Kock brother and their cronies.

The only way Walker could win another election in Wisconsin is the way folks like Castro, Chavez, Franco, Pinochet, and Mussolini get "elected": by corruption, intimidation, or worse. Anything to make sure there is NOT one vote for every citizen.
