(CNN) - President Barack Obama's campaign ended the month of April with over $115 million in the bank, federal campaign filings posted Friday showed.
The campaign had $115,157,432.79 cash on hand after raising $25.7 million that month. Combined with other Democratic efforts, including the Democratic National Committee, they raised $43.6 million in April, slightly more than the $40.1 million GOP candidate Mitt Romney and his allies raised. Romney ended the month with $104 million cash on hand.
But Obama's campaign did report debt: $1,200 owed to a Nebraska company for telemarketing.
-CNN's Kevin Bohn and Paul Steinhauser contributed to this report

Squash Romney!
See, so much complaining and whining from Democrat people and Obama got more money than Romney.
All the money in the world can't change Obama's record of failure. The American people HAVE been paying attention. They showed the Democrats that in 2010 and will them again in 2012.
Mr Prez, You will need that courtesy of Scalia, Roberts & Kennedy. They need a do-over. The Surpreme Court GOT IT WRONG. Big black eye for America & Decades stepping Back. Please do the Right thing & Reverse it!!
I just heard democrat Paul Beguilla criticize Mitt Romney for raising less money than Obama and he got away with it. Isn't this the same guy who called George Bush, a high functioning moron! CNN should examine their political leanings if they are to remain a news organization.
"But Obama's campaign did report debt: $1,200 owed to a Nebraska company for telemarketing. "
And CNN took the bait. Can't wait for some Teatroll to post that this is evidence of "how Dems do business" or some such nonsense.
Does this make him a 1%er?
alright, who gave .79 cents???
So... if fund raising was over, Obama would win the election.
Check the history of past President victories and who spent the most money. It's not about the better candidate, it's only about the money. At least Mitty is still behind, but I truly hate our current election process.
Ah yea, my little $10 was in there!!!
Obama 2012 – The Only Trusted Way Forward!!
I guess that makes him part of the one percent%
Middle class like me are backing...
A cool $115 million on hard......George Clooney and Wall Street have been very good to him.
Let's hear about those super pac's again.
$115+ in his campaign fund and he complains that the rich are going to sway the vote against him with bought votes.
115 million...to be shoved down a rat hole. Obama is finished and he knows it...and soooo do weeee...hahaha
The best politician Corporate money can buy!
Tomorrow we will hear from the mutant side about how much money the made. Most of it is probably from the sociorobully's overseas accounts but they need to launder it first.
He has the money! I don't have fine with me!!but I have one thing he doesn't have "Faith" with the lord, which gonna give us another victory.
who are these idiots donating to Obama?
This makes me sick. It wouldn't make me sick if there weren't starving people out there or if our nation wasn't in so much debt. Makes me sick.
Raise all this money for a campaign, but what about the real issues that need money raised for. Issues that make a difference between life and death.
He'll need a lot of money to beat the corporate masters who bought Mitt Romney. I hear Romney actually gave 150k of his own money to the campaign! Big deal... That's like a real American giving $1.50.
Way to go Barack! I kicked in my $100 to help defeat the corporate task masters.
What do we care about that?
I am a huge CNN fan but this "article" is really not up to standard.
You quote Democratic efforts "slightly" outpacing Republican efforts...in reality you should have mentioned that the "slightly" equated to $3.5mil or almost 9%.
I honestly also don't understand why the third sentence was included? We are talking millions and then it seems necessary to the authors to mention a $1200 debt? Really?
I am not sure why you have decided to post a really interesting topic in the way and standard that you have.
Please, we want to read about these numbers, but in a useful way.
