Video: Obama loves 'the man in the mirror,' Priebus says

(CNN) - Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus argued Friday the president was more focused on "the man in the mirror" than holding true to his campaign pledges.

"My point is he's a person in love with the sound of his own voice. He loves giving speeches, but he doesn't love following through on his promises," Priebus said on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer."

Is PrieNUS on drugs along with every other republican out there that love to hear their OWN voices talking CRAP? Have you ever even look at him when he talks – he talks out the side of him mouth – my mother always said that you're lying when you do that.

On another note, CNN, why is Reverend Wright's picture on the video when the story is about PrieNUS stating Obama is "...more focused on "the man in the mirror"" Give me a break!

Rince is just jealous that President Obama is an intelligent, hardworking, inspiring person and Mittens is a dud whose only qualification for being POTUS is his willingness to sell his soul and be a puppet for the rightwing corporatists.

@ObjectiveGuy: Time doesn't change the FACT that GW Bush's economic, military and foreign policies created a mess, one that President Obama has had some success in cleaning up (quite the accomplishment, when you consider how hard the Repubs have tried to make him and our country fail).

So my question to you is: When are YOU going to accept the reality that all of the GOP's economic, military and foreign policies are PROVEN FAILURES?

Pretty hard to follow through on promises when you have the entire GOP is obstructing and efforts to move the country forward. Prince Reibus is just a pathetic little worm, a meaningless mouthpiece of the domestic terrorist GOP.

Priebus never ever says anything appropriate or accurate. I wish his voice would be silent but then perhaps he represents the majority of the GOP?

You know, Rench. If Michael Steele had been looking in the mirror, it might have been harder for you to put that knife in his back. Maybe if you and your cronies would help the President keep his promises...oooops. What was I thinking? I forgot, you and the RNC/GOP have just about sank the country doing everything possible to obstruct President Obama's every effort to "follow through on his promises". Always great to hear from ya, but hope it's the last. Be gone Rench Previous.

Can someone explain what this story has to do with Rev Wright? Why is his picture at the top of this article? I see what you're doing, CNN!

And you, funny sounding name clown, you are a nobody and you seem to talk trash every time you get a chance. You are the puppet of your party of hell no. You were not elected by the citizens of the US just your own set of slimeballs.
There is nothing wrong with looking in the mirror and liking what you see. Your flip flopper, on the other hand, mutates every morning so he never knows who is looking at in a mirror.
Nice try but this is NOT going to work either.

Now that the election season is in full swing, does that mean we have to listen to Reicne Priebus more often? Like I keep saying, based on Sarah Palin's standards, that name doesn't sound like a Real American name to me.

Priebus has to be the most pathetic chairman the RNC has ever had. This is the man who stabbed Chairman Steele in the back in order to take over. So far he has done nothing and hasn't presented one single positive thing to the party. When Romney loses, he should be out of a job.

Priebus and the RNC apparent love the sound of deceitful and misleading advertising. Their claims that President Obama broke a promise that people could keep their health care plans are absolutely FALSE. I have the same plan I had before health care reform and plan to keep it unless the insurance company increases the cost so much that I can no longer afford it. I don't foresee that in the near future but, if they raise the rates too high, it's nice to know that I can join a health care exchange. The promise the President has kept allows students to remain on their parent's insurance until they're 26 yrs old, children with pre-existing conditions cannot be denied insurance coverage, insurance companies cannot drop a customer who has paid for insurance for years then is diagnosed with a serious illness. There are many other important benefits to ending predatory practices. Bonus: hundreds of thousands of seniors and mothers, who wanted and could afford to quit working but had to work just for health care coverage, have been able to get affordable health care. Those jobs were then available for people who desperately needed jobs and health care coverage.

GOP claims that the President broke his promise are completely false.

Priebus doesn't WANT the President to follow through on his campaign what's his point? It's about time the GOP admitted they were defeated last time BECAUSE the candidate Obama had an agenda that the majority approved of. Shame on them for getting so in the way.

Looks like the only solution is to replace all the obstructionists.

And Priebus loves the camera. This man sure gets in front of the camera a lot for having nothing of substance to say.

These are words from a Party frustrated by an African American more accomplished in communications than the stereotype should allow. Hate and bigotry can be subtle and they've got people working on the message in ways to disguise their real intent.
