Romney met with McConnell

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (CNN) - Mitt Romney met with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell during a quick swing through the nation's capital Wednesday, a campaign aide confirmed.

The campaign previously characterized Romney's afternoon meetings as "private."

During his seven-hours in Washington, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee also attended a small fund-raising event and gave a speech at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce outlining his education policy.

McConnell, the Republican leader in the upper chamber, formally endorsed Romney in mid-April.

One stupid republican meeting with another stupid republican, where is the news in this? Let's hear more about Willard's plans to turn the economy around not about his meeting with the weenie sucker in the Senate.

Most likely Romney was getting an update on the Senator's plan to make Obama a one term president.

McConnell no doubt told Romney he is committed to block every one of Obama's ideas, even the idea Obama took from Romney (individual mandate) or another idea that Romney supports (keeping student loan interest rates low).

►McConnell◄: "Oh, Mittens, keep up the fact that President Obama is a 'nice guy' and we will continue to say that he is not American, he's a socialist, he's not creating jobs, he's divisive, he hate rich people and we'll even bring up Rev. Wright – AND as long as you continue to say he's a nice guy, the American people will start thinking you really believe that.

►MITTens◄: "But should I say it before I FLIP or after the FLOP – should I say it while LYING or telling the truth – and after I say it can I say "...I haven’t, haven’t, I’m not familiar precisely with exactly what I said but I stand by what I said whatever it was...?"

    ►McConnell◄: "Yes!"

No child Left Behind policy is a great aspiration than a good policy. I believe that the teachers could never stop trying to do their efforts on that matter before this policy. I wish the teachers would not be disrupted by No Child Left Behind policy.

CNN Plan – McConnell is generally unpopular. Romney stock is on the rise. Let's remind everyone that they both exist and know each other, maybe it'll rub off against Romney's popularity.

America will not forget McConnells statement: That he and Repubs were going to do whatever they could like , obstruct and destroy America to TRY to make President Obama a one term President. Vote these obstructionist/Tea party people out of congress now before they can do anymore damage to America

Mitch McConnell is evil and racist. His endorsement for Romney is just more poison for a growing pot of toxic waste.

Mitch McConnell has been successful in only one area – making the Senate Republicans totally useless and having them work toward a total lack of progress in America. He is a political terrorist.

WHY is everything this man does "private"... his records as governor: private. His meeting with Santorum: private. His tax returns: private. His conspiracy with McConnell: private. His thoughts on government transparency? keep it private. Basically, he is letting us voters know right up front that the way he will run his office is none of our business.

Romney is the establishment candidate and the tea people shouldn't support him because he doesn't care about those ideas. This isn't to say that the tea groups are really going to support those that need help any how.
