Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you a typical Pres. Obama supporter.
Why are democrats and hippies so angry and do nothing but disrupt the republicans, but republicans never disrupt any Obama events?... these democrats show such disrespect for everyone who doesn't agree with them. Pathetic.

Oh come on Cody, Republicans and Tea Party members heckle Democrats all the time. They even heckle their own, Mitt Romney's son was booed off the stage recently by Ron Paul supporters (as was Lisa Murkowski), during the health reform debate numerous Democrats were heckled and received death threats, and a Republican Representative heckled Pres. Obama during a speech to Congress (and raised a lot of money off it). Republicans heckle just as much, if not much more than, Democrats.

They don't have to go to events they have their own tv channel in faux news to spout the garbage. goper's show disrespect for everyone that does not think and look like them and i think you know what i mean. Hey, bassman. You think this was an Obama supporter? Seems more likely the person is a Ron Paul supporter. Just my opinion mind you, but lately Paul's supporters have been heckling everyone, including Romney's own sons.
In full disclousure, I am a Democrat. It is not appropriate for ANYONE to heckle another. It's just too, too childish. Which leads me back to Ron Paul supporters who are themselves creating havoc in Republican primary elections, and which once again the media refuses to cover.

I am appalled to hear, of ALL people, John McCain, who should be speaking in honor of our war heroes and troops, but he just HAD to make a comment on how Romney would be a great president. You, of all people, Senator, should be ashamed for using this moment for political gain. This day should not be used for politics while at the microphone, by either party! Shame on you!!!!

Stephanie – where did race play a part in this? Memorial day is about American soldiers of all races. One of these days when you grow up you will realize there are many republicans of all races as well. Heckling a memorial day speech is like heckling at a funeral. It is highly disrespectful, reguardless of your political preference or personal experience with the military.
Anonymous – you are a seriously misinformed democrat. Ron Paul supporters are not only NOT the ones heckling but they are the ones being heckled and assaulted at the republican conventions. In the case in Ariziona, Romney Jr. was breaking a very serious RNC convention rule by giving his speech and the establishment GOP was allowing it. There was outrage in the crowd. Before you spout off with the Ron Paul folks being disrespectful you first must understand they are having a near Jim Crow experience within the RNC and secondly you must attend one of their rallies or go to the RNC conventions, talk to them and see for your self. You will find they are the most peace loving, freedom loving, friendly group you will probably ever see. Can you honestly say that about the modern democratic party?
Every once in a while, either accidentally or intentionally, McCain says exactly the right thing. "JERK!". I can think of a few other phrases that would be even more appropriate, but there were families present. I don't care what their political position is, heckling is childish and disrespectful.
It's nice that they come out here to San Diego . I hope they notice all the homeless vets around Balboa Park.

I absolutely respect your opinion of the "peace loving" Ron Paul supporters. I don't necessarily agree, nor am I inclinded to attend one of his "rally's".

McCain,of all people to talk patriotism,the Saigon Songbird as he was known in Vietnam.Even vets dispise him because of his so called "hero" label,voted against extending healthcare for vets.And he probibly never was in prison,those pics were him after he crashed his jet,for the 5th time mind ya ,in a rice patty.Those pics of him were in a Vietnam hospital,not from torture,but from the jet crash, like he lead ya to believe.His military records permantly sealed by his admiral father never to be opened, except the president.Ask him and his Cindy how they took the taxpayers for over 3.5 billion in the 80 s with the KEATING 5,real patriotic,steal from your employers,he does work for you republicans,right,not me,real pathedic,real hypocricy!!!
How did you come to the conclusion that this was a Democratic supporter? The Tea Party Republicans not only disrespect Democrats, they disrespect their fellow Republicans. There has always been discourse in politics but nothing like things are now with an African-American Democrat in the White House and the Tea Partiers who go out of their way to be disrespectful, nasty and down right mean and whose behavor can only be described as shameful. Of course they have good teachers in Rush Limbaugh and the Fox News staff. Every decent Republican should hanag their heads in shame for how their once-proud party has fallen.
