(CNN) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will endorse GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Wednesday, campaign sources told CNN. Rice also confirmed news of the endorsement.
Rice served as secretary of state from 2005-2009 under former President George W. Bush. Before that she was Bush's national security adviser.

Rice was the first African American woman to lead the State Department.
On Tuesday, Romney hit the "magic number" of Republican delegates necessary to win the GOP nomination this summer.

Don't get me wrong, Secetary Rice is a very smart woman, probably the brains of the Bush WH, but just her close envolvement with Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz just reminds people of the 8 years they ruin America both Domestic and Foreign.
We had a bad 8 years of leadership under Bush and yourself and I think you will be better off it you are out of the picture like Mr. Bush. Your endorsement will not help him.

Condi has always been a gop kisser. Blacks has always looked at her as one of them. Even cheney called her a wimp in his book, so i dont see where she has any influence. Even her old boss, geo bush jr, cant get any love from the gop.

Condolezza Rice was our National Security Advisor on 911 and help bring us to war with Iraq over weapons of mass distruction that never materialized. I wouldn't say the endorsement is all that helpful. That being said, she still does a much better job with foreign policy than Mitt who is still selling the Cold War.

The handling of the war in Iraq by the Bush administration was reactionary and unprofessional . You don't barrow money from China to fight a ten year war unless you want to bankrupt the country.
