(CNN) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will endorse GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Wednesday, campaign sources told CNN. Rice also confirmed news of the endorsement.
Rice served as secretary of state from 2005-2009 under former President George W. Bush. Before that she was Bush's national security adviser.

Rice was the first African American woman to lead the State Department.
On Tuesday, Romney hit the "magic number" of Republican delegates necessary to win the GOP nomination this summer.

Way to go Condi. Not that this endorsement makes a huge difference, but it's getting worse and worse for Obama everyday. Approval ratings between 45-48% equates historically to only getting 45-48% of the popular vote. Unless the economy magically picks up then Romney may not just win, but win big in November. This has shades of Jimmy Carter written all over it.

Is there anyone so dense out there that thought Rice would NOT endorse the Republican-Tea Party candidate? That's why she was such a poor Secretary of State, she was soooo easy to read and had no gravitas.

Given her party history, the bigger surprise would have been if she didn't endorse Romney. No news here. This is the woman who said if we didn't invade Iraq, we would face a mushroom cloud. Condoleeza has a problem with facts and lacks good judgment. (Although, I'd vote for her long before I'd vote for Romney who kinda lacks for everything but money.)

I thought according to right wing talk show hosts and pundits Black people supported Obama just because he was Black and that is the main reason someone like Gen Colin Powell supported him last time even though the general is a Republican. I recall Rush Limbaugh throwing a fit over it. So what happens when Condi Rice does NOT throw her support behind Obama? Does that mean she is not REALLY Black or were the right wingers just not very bright?

Impressive...the worst secretary of state this country has seen in decades is endorsing the most dishonest and cynical presidential candidate this country has seen in decades – that endorsement means a lot.
