Condoleezza Rice to endorse Romney

(CNN) - Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will endorse GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Wednesday, campaign sources told CNN. Rice also confirmed news of the endorsement.

Rice served as secretary of state from 2005-2009 under former President George W. Bush. Before that she was Bush's national security adviser.

Rice was the first African American woman to lead the State Department.

On Tuesday, Romney hit the "magic number" of Republican delegates necessary to win the GOP nomination this summer.

Why do we care about all these endorsements? Republicans endorse Republicans and Democrats endorse Democrats. We get it! Political parties watch out for their own party and no one else. These articles are such a waste.

I thought she was smarter than that, to endorse someone who clearly lacks leadership qualities.

Why is this a surprise to anyone? Her focus of her Ph.D was the cold war which seems to be the mind set of the Romney campaign. George W. Bush and others from his administration have endorsed Romney; this isn't a surprise.

What choice do these people have none! So here is another puppet for the Republican party to mold Mitt Romney a Mormon that spews lies and mistrust in every sentence he utters!. I would have never expected that from this respectable religion that escaped persecution in their early days many times! What a hypocrite I am Mormon and would never vote or endorse this man.Say goodbye to democracy as we know it if Romney and this awful bunch gain the White House we lose all rights as middle Americans! He hasn't a clue of our plight as working middle class!
I will never vote Republican again!

Considering her background on the political scene...I find it hard to believe that Ms.Rice would endorse a person who with his weallthy friends is attempting to buy the office of president. Romneys background as Governor of Massachusetts shows him to be incapable of running a country when he was unsuccessful with his home state. His record there is very poor for one who professes such success in business. He has stated plans for changes he would make which give to the rich and take from the poor.... It simply cannot be any clearer than that. I'm very disappointed in Ms. Rice...I guess I miss judged her!!!

Rice is a Bush republican and she endorses Romney and that's newsworthy? The real NEWS would be if she came out and said she is NOT supporting Mitt.
