(CNN) – Mitt Romney received a jump in his favorability rating aided by increased support among female voters, according to a new survey.
The Washington-Post ABC News poll released Wednesday showed 41% of Americans held a positive view of the all-but-certain Republican presidential nominee. Although Romney still trails President Barack Obama's 52%, he experienced a six-point bump from results released just over a month ago.
Washington (CNN) - Ohio Republican Senator Rob Portman is heading to Israel and will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday, a spokesman for Netanyahu confirmed to CNN.

"If Walker wins next Tuesday, which we are very confident he will, Obama's going to have a much tougher road ahead in Wisconsin this fall," Priebus said Wednesday on a conference call with reporters of the state Obama won by almost 15% in 2008. "Certainly if Wisconsin goes red I think it's lights out for Barack Obama."
(CNN) - President Barack Obama called presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney on Wednesday to offer congratulations on reaching the number of delegates required for the GOP nomination, both candidates' campaigns acknowledged Wednesday.

The Gallup survey indicated the first lady has a 66% favorable rating, unchanged from two years ago and consistent with the figures she received when her husband, Barack Obama, was sworn in as president.
(CNN) – Mitt Romney's campaign iPhone app rolled out with a glitch.
The lead phrase on the app, "A Better America," was misspelled as "A Better Amercia," an error that was widely tweeted Tuesday night.
