(CNN) – Mitt Romney will win New Jersey's Republican presidential primary Tuesday, CNN projects.
He clinched the GOP presidential nomination last week when he surpassed the 1,144 delegate threshold. However, he remains the presumptive nominee until the party convention in August.

One big rare event. The only state Romney won by more than 80% in 2012 so far. We knew Utah 2008 was given to Romney. Will it prevail?
it is funny, when there is only one horse hopping, how do you call it a win?
Reminds me of and old Aggie joke, that went sort of like this:
The A&M football team was playing Texas in a bitter hard fought game. About mid-way through the 2nd quarter, there was a loud noise as a car somewhere close backfired. Texas thought it was the end of the half, so headed off into the locker room. Three plays later, the Aggies scored.
(No offense to A&M intended.)
Right on mitt

Of course, Romney won the NJ Primary. The other 3 candidate had dropped out of the race. They were Paul,Santorum and Gingrich. It was a primary election. You had to vote your party. Otherwise the machine is locked.
One other note: All he needed was a single vote and you also could have said he won N J.
