Michelle Obama fires up crowd in Philly

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (CNN) – First lady Michelle Obama rallied supporters in this must-win state Wednesday, imploring the energetic crowd to help give her husband a "chance to finish what we started."

Touting the passage of health care reform, the improving economy and the withdrawal of troops in Iraq as examples or her husband's achievements in office, Obama told the crowd to " make sure that people know that all of this - and so much more - is at stake this November."

"And in the end, it all boils down to one simple question: Will we continue the change we've begun and the progress we've made, or will we allow everything we've fought for to just slip away?" she said.

Predicting a close race, Obama told the crowd her husband "can't do this alone."

But, she argued, the president has demonstrated that he will fight for his beliefs.

"When we need a leader to make the hard decisions to keep this country moving forward, you know you can count on my husband, your president, because that is what he has been doing every single day in the Oval Office as President of the United States. "

The first lady – fresh off a publicity tour to promote her new book on gardening – will continue campaigning for her husband Thursday with a rally in Virginia and a private fundraiser in Washington, DC.

A couple of questions,..What is the change you have begun?... we still have not been filled in on what the end product is. As far as doing it alone I hear that you and Valerie Jarret are pretty much running the show. Give me an example of a hard decision this suit has made,... killing Osama?, I know of some girl scouts that could have made that decision... lets face it none of his decisions are hard or in the interest of the US. And as far as being in the oval office it is common knowledge that he spends most of his time on the second floor. CNN who is this man??... do you know any more than we do about this anti-colonialist- marxist- composite built on fairy tales, dreams, and arrogance?

They need another term to finish off America, I think. Here's praying there is about as high a percentage who think otherwise as supported Walker in yesterday's election.

Continue to what? The destruction of a system that saves the world's people from being exterminated by their own governments? Replace a great system with one that has it's filthy fingers in every aspect of our lives? No, at all costs and means no. Defeat BHO's terrible ideas by any means possible.

We do not want you two to 'finish what you started.' Obama has nearly destroyed this country and we don't need any more input from either of you. Perhaps you could begin packing your possessions....

The last thing our country needs is to give you a chance to finish what you and your empty suit husband started. The country is on the verge of ruin because of his complete failure.

So, this "remaking" of America you and the hubby have started....It's been a disaster. I understand that you are now proud of your country and all, but to the rest of us, you and The One are doing nothing but destroying the economy and the basic morality of our great, proud country. It doesn't need the changes that you LibTards are attempting.

No, better to fight to the bitter end, than to see the country I love turned to ash!

Better that God close my eyes for the last time than to see America fall!

What we need is a leader. Obama isn't a leader. He swoops in, offers his opinion, then swoops out, taking credit when things go right and assigning blame when it doesn't. A leader works with dissonance and creates consensus, or at least something both sides can grumble about but accept .. with no real winner or looser.

Obama isn't a leader, he's just someone with an ego who thinks his ideas are the only right ones and wants to be in charge.

"A chance to finish what we started".... you know, destroying the country. Running the debt up another 10 – 15 trillion, putting more and more people on food stamps, SSDI, and welfare. Creating more and more insane enviro-whacko anti-business policies. Yeah, America needs another 4 years of this garbage. I can see November from my house!

Yes, Michelle, except that he actually hasn't spent many actual days in the Oval Office making "hard decisions." Most of his days have been spent fundraising, playing golf, taking Bon Jovi on rides in Air Force One, etc.
