Salt Lake City, Utah (CNN) - It's an exclusive ticket: a day-long Utah retreat for high-dollar donors to huddle with Mitt Romney.
A senior Romney adviser tells CNN invitations have gone out for the retreat, which will take place later this month in the Deer Valley resort area of Park City where Romney used to own a home.

The Salt Lake Tribune first reported details about the event, which the campaign is calling the "First National Romney Victory Leadership Retreat." Romney's joint fund-raising effort with the Republican National Committee is called the Romney Victory Fund.
The adviser said they expect more than 300 of the campaign's "major investors" – major fund-raisers and donors who have contributed $50,000 or more – to attend the retreat scheduled in two weeks.
The purpose of the meeting is to give the select group updates on the campaign, according to the aide familiar with planning.
News of the donor retreat comes days after the Romney campaign announced it raised $77 million last month, surpassing the amount raised from President Barack Obama's re-election effort and marking the first month the Republican effort out-raised the Democrats.
Romney campaign finance chairman Spencer Zwick, who arrived in Salt Lake City Friday afternoon to attend a fund-raising reception and dinner in the area with the White House hopeful, said he was "very pleased" with the fund-raising efforts by Republicans in May.
"You hope for the very best. I didn't anticipate that we would raise more than President Obama did," said Zwick.

If this man becomes president, then I guess it would then be fair if I did as he did. I dont have the kind of money he has, yet. But I could start on a smaller scale. I especially want to go the red states and downsize, outsource, and automate jobs. I would then pay minimum wage on the jobs that I have left while lobbying for the elimination of the minimum wage...... Alright, I couldnt do all that. I would have to hate my country and my fellow Americans to do all that harm to them.

Why don't they just come out and say the LDS church is giving romney money and trying to make him president. It was Joesph Smiths goal to take over the Government and now they are doing it with one big fat rich guy.

I fully anticipate that Republicans will outspend Democrats in this election by over five to one. Wisconsin was just the beginning. Conservative elites will hold nothing back to buy our government outright, now that it is fully legal. They no longer have to pretend that politicians are independent of those who bought them. What a truly sick political system we have at present. Just imagine, a handful of unelected and unaccountable men with total control of our country. We should be ashamed but a great many of us are too dense to realize we have been had.
Romney is the poster boy for why Citizens United needs to be overturned. He has no platform, no policies, no principles, will not/can not answer any substantive questions on the critical issues facing the People and yet all he does is sit back, offer nothing, tell lies every day about President Obama and collect millions from hidden corporations who trade Romney promises of no regulations on them and other favors for campaign cash. It is unethical, immoral, and unAmerican. It is destroying our democracy and our time-tested election process. We need to defeat Romney to prove the Presidency is not for sale.
Perhaps Willard Mitt Romney will explain why he wants to be commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces when he, in fact, sought four (4) military draft deferments during the Viet Nam war era. The man is an out-and-out coward!
Romney will price the remaining parts of his soul, sell them at prime rib prices, and get his legislative orders from the people who will own him if he wins. The man is a demonstrated liar ("money was steered to administration family members and cronies", "Obama hasn't signed any trade agreements", "Obama has never offered a jobs plan", all completely provably wrong assertions that he keeps repeating) and now he's also emphasizing that he's beholden to a small group of wealthy patrons. If this is presidential quality, then Stalin was a humanitarian.

Maybe what we need to do is start a revolution against the scotus. It turns out that these judges (barf) actually made uo their own rules about corporation being people.
