
(CNN) – Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, who ran as a tea party favorite in her Republican presidential bid this cycle, posed outside her House office Monday with a flag widely known as a symbol for the tea party movement.
The flag stands in the spot traditionally reserved for state and U.S. flags.

"I'm pleased to have Gadsden Flag outside my office. I remain committed to reducing size/scope of federal gov," she tweeted, along with the photo.
Also Monday, a fair number of tea party activists from across the country–in town for a conference hosted by the conservative grassroots group FreedomWorks–headed to the Hill to meet with lawmakers.


Next thing you know they'll be saluting & waving swaztika flags. Whoops! They were already doing that in 2010.
