Holder rejects resignation call at testy Senate hearing

Washington (CNN) - Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday rejected a Republican call to resign, telling a heated Senate hearing that Republicans were trying to score political points instead of addressing significant issues.

Under attack from the outset by Republican members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Holder rejected accusations he was stonewalling congressional investigators on the botched "Fast and Furious" gun-running sting operation and failing to properly investigate recent leaks of classified information.

No Deals, investigate, prosecution and jail time for the Holder and any in the Obama administration that was involved.

Sure, as long as we include prosecution and jail time for anyone in the Bush administration that was involved, and contempt charges and censure for any Congressional grandstanders if it all turns out to be nothing. I think the GOP is wasting our time with another politically motivated witch-hunt. Prove me wrong: go after *everybody* and try to make anything stick.

Obama 2012 – BEND Forward America, take another 4 long years of FAILURE

He's probably trying to protect the previous occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. If he turns over anything else it'll incriminate the entire previous admin, and the rethugs will cry and whine that it was all "partisan politics" designed to make the rethugs look bad.
You post some pretty dopey stuff here but thisone takes the cake!!!

You should try reading some of own postings. In other words, pot meet kettle.

For those that keep referring to the Gun Program in the Bush Admin...YOU leave out important FACTS...Bush did the program WITH the MEXICAN Govts approval and knowledge and as soon as it was realised that guns might go missing the program was stopped.....

    No it wasn't.

All you Dems saying Holder should just hang on have to realize that he is just damaging the Obama administration. When independents look at him, they think about the terrible leaks of confidential information, they think about Fast and Furious etc. He is a stain on the administration and they would be much better off just cutting ties with him.

Typical GOP witch-hunt. No facts, just accusations. Where is all the outrage from these GOP sub-humans for three criminals that are roaming free now, Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Bush??? All this is, is another blatant attempt to undermine the legitimacy of the President (plus the right-wingers can't stand the fact the AG is black). This country needs a civil war more than ever. Conservatism and all its supporters need to be eradicated before they turn us into a third world country.

He should not resign and the PUBS should be the ones we're fearing
What 's the best way to make it seem as if a Democrat is responsible for the leak
It could be a Republican who took the time to go to a "liberal" newspaper to make it seem "Democrat unique"

    Republicans speak with forked tongue!!!
