Romney's bus ticket to 'their turf'

Boston (CNN) - Mitt Romney embarks Friday on a bus tour his campaign considers to be on "their turf," according to a Romney official who was referring to the six battleground states that President Obama won in 2008.

Over five days the presumptive Republican presidential nominee will visit towns in New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan.

Napolitano to announce immigration policy changes

(CNN) – In an election-year policy change, the Obama administration announced Friday it will stop deporting young people who came to the United States as children of illegal immigrants if they meet certain requirements.

Michigan lawmakers barred from floor after 'vagina,' 'vasectomy' remarks

(CNN) - Two state representatives in Michigan were barred from speaking on the floor of the legislature in Lansing Thursday after colleagues deemed their language "failed to maintain the decorum" of the legislative body.

State Reps. State Reps. Lisa Brown and Barb Byrum, both Democrats, were arguing against proposed legislation that would enact new restrictions on abortions in Michigan, including provisions for new insurance requirements for abortion providers.

(CNN) – Florida Gov. Rick Scott is not dead. But according to one elections official in Naples he died in 2006.

That’s the story the Republican governor told the Miami Herald Thursday, explaining how he attempted to cast an early ballot and was told the unsettling news.
