(CNN) – Mitt and Ann Romney's five sons, often dubbed the "Romney boys," took to comedian Conan O'Brien's couch Wednesday night where they received some playful mocking and lightheartedly described their father, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
Fashioned with name tags after O'Brien admitted "I really honestly don't know who's who and I've been looking at your pictures for days," Tagg, Matt, Josh, Ben and Craig described some of the pranks delivered in the Romney household.

Matt said his father often asks someone to smell a food and then covers their faces with the butter or whipped cream.
"You're ending up with stuff all over your face," Matt said on TBS' "Conan" before describing a stunt of his own.
During Romney's first presidential bid in 2008, Matt played audio over the phone of then-California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose endorsement Mitt Romney was hoping to secure, to impersonate a phone call. Video of the stunt was played on the show and greeted with laughs from Romney's sons.
Although Romney has received a reputation as a sometimes stiff candidate, Craig said his Dad was a fan of the "Taco! Burrito! What's coming out of our Speedo?" skit on "Saturday Night Live," made famous by Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri and had it stuck in his head for about five years.
"Anytime you mentioned the words 'taco' or 'burrito' you knew my Dad would chime in, 'Taco, burrito, what's coming out of your Speedo?" Craig said.
But the jean-clad offspring could not escape jokes about their appearance.
"We have three extra Romneys on back-up that can be brought in at any time. That's Tragg, Lagg and Bernie right there," O'Brien said as a shot of three men, similarly attired to the Romneys, appeared on the screen.
During a "true or false" section of the show, O'Brien made light of the former Massachusetts governor's perfectly coiffed hair.
"True or false, your Dad's hair is chiseled out of imported African mahogany?" O'Brien asked.
"That is true," Tagg responded with a laugh.
When O'Brien showed a picture of the large Romney clan, he described it as "absolutely incredible."
"You can tell when you guys get together there's a global khaki shortage. There's panic worldwide," O'Brien said.
Josh, who said the five sons prefer to be referred to as "brothers" instead of "boys," joked that they were "thinking about starting a boy band." The third oldest also said he was hesitant about his father launching another bid for the White House.
"We knew what we were getting into this time and so we were definitely more hesitant," Josh said.
Matt said he was "really reluctant."
"I didn't want him to do it. I tried to convince him not to. I think there were a few of us that tried that," Matt said. "For us as family this isn't the best thing, but as Josh said, for the country we think it's the right thing."
TBS, like CNN, is part of the Turner Broadcasting System.

Romney set for biggest fund-raising day yet

One of the sons is in the charter school business which is why Romney will try to privatize the school system.
1. None of them "avoided" military service as there was never a military draft during their times when they would be eligible to serve.
2. More than 98% of American men their age did not serve in the military, so are all of you haters saying 98% of American men their ages are "worthless" military-service "avoiders"?
3. Last time I checked, there is no pre-requisite to have served in the military or to have sons who served in the military to become President of the United States.
It's amazing how ignorance blinds all you haters!
.....and this is who the Repubs are going to vote for?? I can just see Mitt now, over in North Korea trying to negotiate a deal "Watch out! A Nuke!!. Hahaha Just kidding." How can anyone take him seriously? Is THIS how they are trying to 'connect with Americans' by being jokesters? Uh, I don't think so.
A bunch of real class acts posting here. It's so cool to pick on kids you don't know. Grow up bullies.
pretty funny how all the loser lefties in here that have nothing and have done squat with their lives are in here trashing good, successful people. and then accuse them of being the bullies. pretty sad pathetic bunch the left is.
Rae, that's the dumbest thing I've read this week. When Obama gets up at the White House Press Corps dinner and does a comedy routine, that's ok, but Romney's kids having lighthearted fun on Conan isn't?
A little research shows that these are accomplished, bright young men, who are participating in the "American Dream" through hard work and independant spirits:

Craig Romney (1981)

dave: I suppose you're right but it's all about image. I hate Romney more and it's sad that he didn't even win the college votes for the State he was governor of. Just saying.
There sure are some ridiculous comments on here; some people must be really bored. My favorites are the ones saying none of his sons served in the military and they should have. I guess I didn't realize the requirements to be a politician's son and that because they're wealthy they some how got out of doing it. We haven't had a draft in almost 40 years; nobody is required to be in the military. There's about 2 million people in the U.S. military so most people don't serve in the military. This doesn't make them any less of a human being.
More from the out-of-touch Romney family. The trust-fund boys appear to be doing fine. No news here, just move along...
Mitt Romney has no connection to the middle class and his personality oozes with boredom, and the only thing he has come up with to boost his character is that he is a prankster who was formerly a bully. This is a pathetic worn out tactic and if he thinks that people will warm up to him because he is a prankster,he is sadly mistaken as he is not running for Prankster in Chief. It has become way beyond dorky that the only thing he has to offer to bolster his lacking character iand lack luster personality is that he is a prankster. Pathetic and worn out.If the boys band played at a wedding everyone would think they escaped off the wedding cake.
I haven't watched Conan in ages, but recorded it just get the eye candy of the Romney brothers. I'd vote for Romney just to see his hottie boys! Yummy! Cute and funny. Did great things as governor and raised great -and hot boys! check -check!
That's just creepy ~ sending out your gaggle of stepford sons to try to make you seem normal – is not normal.
It has been said of a rich guy that he was born on third base and claimed he hit a triple.
Americans are misguided when they admire the accomplishments of people who had every advantage known to man. How could Rob-money's kids be anything but successful? Of course they have degrees from Harvard. Who wouldn't if they had great health care, free tuition, half a brain, and all the money in the world? Heck, they probably even had somebody paid to take their tests for them.
That's not something to be admired. Jesus didn't admire the Pharasees for being rich, and Bishop Rob-money is a prime example of a Pharasee.
@ Steve
Hard work, American dream, and independant? You couldn't be serious.
How many of us can afford to just leave our jobs and campaign with "daddy" when needed?
How many of us had millions of dollars upon birth to get started?
And as to your claim of " independant" – you're right they are "independant" because they certainly aren't INDEPENDENT.
Get real and realize Willard is a user. Always has been and always will be and no amount of lies is going to change that.
@ v_mag
I love your post and it says it ALL.
Thanks.
Only rich people say Prankster, please give me break.
Say Steve, Thanks for the bio info. Yes, they are up there on the accomplishment ladder and should be respected for it. But where do you think they would be if Mittens made less than 50k/year? 2 would be in jail, one would be dead, and the other 2 would be making $10/hr. At least that's what the odds favor.
I have always said that family members should be off limits when it comes to attacks by both the right and left of a particular candidate. Therefore I have nothing either negative or positive to say about the Romney boys.

Maybe in YOUR family but certainly not in mine and many others. Everybody in my family that did well in school, kept their nose clean and worked hard got college degrees and good jobs. Too bad so many in our society just won't follow this very simple formula for success, especially the work hard part.
No opinion on the Romney sons. It's their father who will never be President.

Most people begin the American Dream at home plate, looking to get to first. Those "brothers" started on third base.
Now Romney Five sons FEED to Romney,
The reality of it is, they are exactly as they should be... Children of wealthy parents are usually one of 2 ways, either they take advantage of it and go to good schools and get good educations and continue on in the family manor, or else they go the other way and they are always in trouble and ketting kicked out of different private schools and things like that...
These boys are good kids, BUT, to pretend that they or anyone in their family is in touch with the common person is ludicrist... When Mitts claims the majority of his income is from capital gains allowing him to pay at the lower rate, but then he still gets a $77,000 write off for a HORSE, makes it hard to think these people have any clue to the common man... It tends to make me feel like they are being condescending to even try to pass it off...
That is the biggest problem I see with the whole thing... His boys might be good decent human beings, but they are not the average American and nothing they say or do can make then have any true understanding of how and average American deals with life...
So I feel it is an even bigger waste of time to have his wife and kids try to humanize him, when they don't have a clue anymore than Mitt does...
