  1. The GOP needs to pack up and leave

Reagan was a ginormous spender. Remember when he got the national debt up in the rafters?

alqueda war with America was not about military might, but financial exhaustion. they cause the bush administration to fight 2 wars while cutting taxes 2 major times, which will cause the logical man to have ulser. only the rabid repubs understand their leaders voodoo economics, this is probably why they want to go back to the same old bush economical policies that destroyed the financial sector and our country. when these people look up and see that the stock market is not the best place to put all American apples in that basket. why should we base our whole future on a stock market that proved a big disaster the last time bush did it.mitten just doesn't want to put half of American asset on the stock market, he want to put the whole caboodle, and kill the federal government
participation all together in our economy. so when the volitile market get volitile again, like it did in 2008 we will have nothing to bail us our, then because mitten is just not that bail out kind of Guy. he likes to see things bottom out, then sell what's left to china.

Congress is a big spender and as much as Fox news and Republicans like to lie and blame Obama for the spending it would not matter who was in the Whitehouse the spending would be high and it all started with Bush playing cowboy and blowing the surplus and his no limit credit card that did not come due until Obama took office. Fox news has done a very good job at getting it's cult members to believe the lies that it is Obamas fault.Everyone with an education knows the spending under Obama is high because of the major recession Bush brought us combined with two unfunded wars, the 700 billion dollar Bush stimulus, the Bush prescription plan, the Bush tax gifts to the rich and the global economy tanking. This is not to blame Bush it is just a fact that the Bush years will take a couple decades to pay for.

Well, they both like to spend. The big difference is what they want to spend it on and how to pay for it. The GOP wants to spend it on making money and profits for themselves and to please the big corporations (big ole, big insurance, military spending, tax breaks, etc.) without any regards for increasing the revenue side by taxing the profiteers. Democrats invest much more in the needs of the people, education, infrastructure, the future, etc. And they also feel that the ones that profit most from the system should pay more to support what they profit from. So again, easy to see the difference:
GOP, working and spending for the benefit of 1% (if they could!) and the "poor" are to pay for it.
Democrats, working and spending for all to benefit (100%) and the "all that can" to pay for it.

Um, let's see: He has never had his budget passed by Congress (even when the dems controlled it). He has run major deficits each year. He has increased the debt by $5 trillion (more than any President in history). And, no one is employed so there are no tax revenues for the future. Yes, I guess he loves spending.

The article does not explain where in the budget Obama's big spending is. TARP, Stimulus, and bailouts of banks and the auto industry are done before 2012. Obama's healthcare program has not been fully implemented, and most of spending on the program will not occur before 2014. This means that Obama's health care program has contributed little to the deficits since it was passed. Take out all the above items, because they do not apply, and we still have a trillion dollar deficit in 2012. Has it dawned on people that Obama's spending programs were not the reasons we continue to have trillion dollar deficits? And that the first trillion dollar deficit, in FY 2009, was passed in 2008, before the presidential election? In fact, the deficits after 2009 have been lower than the 2009 deficit?

Hey GOP remember how your boy George Bush increased the debt ceiling just under 90 times, but when the current president wants to do it just a few times its a big deal. The GOP has no clue whatsoever. Their boy George bush was the biggest spender of them all. We need to get these guys(and girls) out of Congress now! Give the current president a second term with a Congress that will work with him and then if his policies fail then we can properly place blame for the economy. He has a legitimate excuse as these clowns have done everything to obstruct him possible.
