Obama attacks critics head-on in New Hampshire

Durham, New Hampshire – President Barack Obama confronted his critics head-on during an address at Oyster River High School here on Monday, redirecting attack lines most often aimed at him and turning them against his opponents instead.

“This is going to be a close election, and from now until November the other side will spend more money then at any time in American history,” Obama said. “And almost all of it will be on ads that tell you the economy’s bad. It’s all Obama’s fault. He can’t fix it because he thinks government’s always the answer, because he doesn’t have the experience of making a lot of money in the private sector, and because he’s in over his head.”

Mr. President, what Republicans plan to do about it is a big secret because they aren't telling voters. But they have sent their "secret weapon" out to get you, her name is Sarah Palin. LOL

“That may be a plan to win the election,” the president said of the Republican’s messaging strategy. “It’s sure not a plan to create jobs. It’s not a plan to grow the economy. It’s not a plan to pay down our debt. It’s not a plan to revive the middle class and restore the American dream.”

But Mitt Romney is the only one running who has a plan to grow the economy and create jobs, to pay down our national debt, to revive the middle class and to restore the American dream. And his jobs plan does not involve paying $500,000 a job with new government debt to put someone to work only to have them laid off 1 year later. That's how the Stimulus worked and that's the structure of Obama's "jobs" bill. We can do better. Romney 2012.

Exactly how many jobs did Mitts create as a banker ? Are all bankers job creators now ? There must be at least a thousand banks that created more jobs than Bain did, but we never hear them being hailed as job creators. I always thought that business owners and its employees were the job creators and borrowing money was just part of doing business. Maybe we should all walk into out banks and thank them for being the worlds largest job creators, thats what Mitts wants is for people to think that borrowing money means you are a job creator.

Mittens has no successful public record to run on. He did not create jobs as governor, he did increase the state debt, increased taxes but called them fees, and that is the successful record right wingnuts think will help America? Other than being white, wealthy, and wimpy, he has nothing to run on.

It takes Bush and the Republicans eight years to ruin the economy and Obama is supposed to fix it in four years. I think conservatives must get dumber by the minute...

That's the way it needs to be handled. Straight on. Not hiding even with people in the same room. Where was Romney's humorous banter with reporters today? After awhile, if all you can say is "failure" people stop listening.
