I think the embarrassment congress brought is not for Eric Holder but for themselves

Republicans have no ideas for our economy to improve and we are tired of their games. I am voting for all democrats in Nov. I am simply tired of the hate and incompetence since republicans have controlled Congress. Enough of this foolishness we are becoming a joke to other countries because of republicans.

This is absolutely certain to create jobs. Good work GOPers/Teatrolls. Nothing says "health economy" like "symbolic wang-waving partisan scalp-hunting shenanigans vote."

Once again, this Congress is more interested in trying to make obama's administration look bad when in reality, it is just the republicans playing politics and in the worst ways. No matter what, whether they have agreed with an idea or not anything this President has proposed they are totally against it. If the idea was that bad, why not just let it pass if they think it is that bad of an idea. If it fails, it will be on Obama. Apparently they are afraid his ideas will work and so do not let any of them go forward. With regards to Fast and Furious, the article in Fortune magazine with a 6-month investigation further indicates how wrong the republicans are on these so called charges against Holder. As an independent i am sick and tired of seeing this Congress not getting anything accomplished for the struggling economy.

Kat – Which crook, Issa? I strongly agree. AG Holder is guilty of absolutely nothing. This has been nothing but a ploy to try and make the President and the AG look bad, and with the new revelations in Fortune magazine, the GOP witch hunt has backfired and failed miserably. The real crooks are the GOP, point your ire (or faux outrage) in their direction.

If they really wanted to get to the bottom of the whole issue, why didn't they interview the people who actually carried out the program? That would have made sense. Why didn't they wait until the investigators were finished and then if they didn't have enough information, they could have asked for more. This is premature, obviously politically motivated and it is making the Congress look mean and pig headed again. This may come back to bite the Republicans and they have only themselves to blame.

At this point count me as someone else who is in contempt of this congress. Darrell Issa is a clown with no agenda other than to tarnish this administration.

Lynch mob was really ticked off today because they didn't get their way with the court.
GOPers must be so proud to make history this way. Not to mention going against everything and everyone else associated with Obama. Who cares about the collateral damage, we citizens. You can take your pointed white hats out of the closet now. No need to pretend any longer.

Appointed yourself judge, jury & executioner, eh kat? Even the car thief has said that Eric Holder has done nothing wrong. I hope they keep it up until November! The right is doing all of the President's heavy lifting, and it's all soooooo going to bite them on the on the backside in November.

I think what is good about Republicans is that they are not so worried like Democrats that something will come back to bite them. Republicans are more concerned with the workings of our country, carrying out the laws which is why Republicans will obey the new Tax Law of the Healthcart and Democrats will find a way to escape the healthcare law. A lot of cheering for healthcare and already I bet Democrats are trying to figure out how to get out of paying their share.

Repubs holding Holder in contempt is kind of like the pot calling the kettle. Of course they have held the people of the United States in contempt for several years now. Repub and redneck. Are those two words redundant?

Independent voters – please see this for what it is . . . pure HATE for the administration headed by intelligent, HIGHLY CREDEnTIALLED, HIGHLY QUALIFIED, people who happen not to be white.

Holder was an assistant under Janet Reno, I guarantee you he knows the job BETTER than just about anyone that ever held it. He has done a yeoman`s job and ALL Americans should stand behind this distinguished PUBLIC SERVANT.

The GOP is turning off millions of people with these ANTICS; including all the black, brown & yellow people that are observing how someone that looks differently from all the white male Attorney Generals has been treated by the GOP. These people see the injustice and will never vote for Republican candidates.

These people that are railing against Holder don't even know that F&F started up George Bush! It was the last of 5 similar Gun Walking operations under GWB. And with the NRA hammering out wonderful congressmen with threats and cash our laws are so weak that the ATF cannot even prosecute these crooks/drug runners half the time.
